keeping track of grocrie bill

i am keeping track of my grocrie bill each month to see if it goes up or down each month i am hoping with all the coupons i keep getting that it will got down i will keep you posted on how much i save every week just to give everyone a idea.

I keep a spread sheet of all of the money we spend on a monthly basis. This includes groceries. I do keep the foods and the personal care/sundry items separate. I need to set it up so that I can see my savings with each trip however. I will include a sheet just for that. Thanks for that idea! Keep us posted on how yours goes.

well i did my big shopping today insted of waiting until monday i spent $228.00 but my bill would have been $268.00 but i saved $40.00 with the coupons i used so it was a little nice to see the bill go down

Do you find all of your coupons online to use or get them all in magazines or newspapers??

I am thinking I will start tracking better too. I kind of keep track since I have a budget but I have no idea really. I go buy what I need unless the money is out. I spend $240 a month of food and grocery items. I think most months I spend a little less then the extra I spend at case lot sales durring the year. I wonder if I spend more or less then I think I do.
This is a great idea. I will track my budget closer and we can all find out together.

i spend more than that i guess because i have 4 children and one is only 1 so i still have to get diapers for her but our costs seem to be going down which is always good also to keep track there is a website you can go to and print up a traking paper for you to keep track of it every month if you want the sites name just let me know.

I have been keeping track of how much I spend at the grocery store every time I go now for several months. I know for a fact ever since I have been watching the sales and stocking up on them it has gone down. I am going to also start keeping track of how much money I save using coupons.
