yes, there are many times that it happens to me, after responding from a notification in my email when i go looking for new discussions or recent or form new users or even in my interests, etc... i cant find any that i can respond to... sometimes what i do is just close it, and then come back an hour later or if i get a notification in my email. if the same thing happens that i cant respond to any discussion i go out again... lol... cycle...

thats true!!! i look through my email. answer whats in there. then if i find something to respond to i respond. when i dont i just move on to a new website like myspace and then waste time. lol

I often encounter that whenever I go here in this site these days.. I don't know.. maybe every time I get here, the interesting discussions have already been posted but, the recent ones always show up and unfortunately, those are the discussions that I find no interest in. Its a matter of choice or preference. Even though I can actually participate in a discussion, if its not really that interesting, I wouldn't go and post at all. (^_^")
Sometimes, I really look at discussions started by friends or some random member and see if they have started something interesting just to get me through that situation of not seeing anything interesting to post on in this site (^_^ )

yeah i agree with that! sometimes its better to look at some random people because they have some interesting discussions. its good to go out of your normal friend circle. sometimes i feel the same way! all the good discussions are posted when im away!!! lol but i know thats not the case.

Indeed, its not really like that when we are not here in this site.
There are days however that someone just started a number of discussions that I can actually post at. I find that fortunate sometimes.
Then on those days when I can't find anything interesting, I would wonder what happened to those members who have started those interesting discussiosn before? Have they already lost ideas on other interesting discussions for me to post??

I go random, if their profile photo interests me, I'd go and see if they also have interesting discussions. If their discussions are interesting, I'd go and see if they also have other interesting discussions too (^_^ )

yup! i think its because its the weekend! everyone is home and they get on! i have found a ton of discussions to comment on today.
thats probably because all of my friends are on...
im also getting comments to my responses faster.
see thats right....people are on theres more discussions.
i like to read random discussions only when there arent any good ones...todays definitely not a random kinda day!!!

I have been in the same situation a lot of times , I like to have more informative discussions from which we could get benefit .. not as someone was telling how he was caught naked .. it even wasn't funny to tell !!

So far I have never had one of those days. I bookmark lots of discussions that I want to go back to and respond on when I haven't got time as soon as they are posted and then if there is nothing interesting in my notifiers, hot topics or no responses then I go to them. I also check out 'started discussions' in profiles of my friends.
If I still don't find anything I go back and catch up with comments on the responses Ihave received on my own discussions.

I started doing that a few months back. I created a folder 'myLot later' and when I open notifiers or see an interesting discussion but just can't do them all they go there and I catch up later.
Good discussions never go out of date so there's always something at hand for those times.

yeah i have been having that a lot! i think mine is just due to being busy and knowing i have better things to do but even when i was a mylot addict i would still run into days where i couldnt find anything

I often see the same thing but I don't think too much about it. I would start an interesting discussion myself and I have done that a few times. The surprising thing is my interesting discussion does not interest people Go figure. Cheers!!!

I scroll up all my topic of interest everytime i sign in and i have not yet feel to see discussion is not interesting. Almost all topic of interest are interesting to respond.

It happens that sometimes there just isn't any discussion that we find interesting. It happens that I have some of those types of days, as well. And I wouldn't be surprised if this happens to quite a few other mylot members as well. It doesn't happen very often that I'm in this sort of situation, but it occurs nevertheless. It's really normal. There's nothing really to worry about. All you can really do is to hope that things pick up tomorrow.

yeah....it seemed that there was nothing to write this morning! but it did pick up! so im glad! ive been really really busy lately but when i get on it seems like theres nothing. but then today when i have nothing its good i have all the time to just hang out here and do a ton of things.

I find myself in that situation quite a bit. As a matter of fact, I think this is the first discussion I've responded to today. Possibly in the past two or so days. Lately I just haven't seen too many discissions that I feel like responding to or have much to say.

Yes, I also experience this. It seems that everything is nonsense. I cannot contribute any thoughts on any topic because nothing really do interests me. But still my moods is still the most important factor to make this non sense interesting. lol. If I have good moods, I can reply to not so interesting topic.

Well, i find discussions unimpressive after i'm done responding to discussions of my interest. I then suddenly feel mylot forum filled with junk discussions and i wait for while for new discussions to get update.
At times you don't have anything to write on others discussion and no one posts comments on your discussions as well - this is very annoying as the waiting time goes on and on and there is no end to it. :)

Yes sometimes it can happen!normally i check discussions from my general panel here on mylot so i can read much and sometimes i did not find something of really interesting..so when it happened i come o my interest and select some genral topic i want in that moment to discuss with others and normally when i select topics i can find some discussions interesting or i would like to share my opinion about it!!

yeah thats what i normally do...i will search something im interested at the moment and i find some to respond to on the search. if i cant find any there, i just start some on my own that way i could possibly be interesting to someone else lol

This happens quite often but mostly it is a Saturday for me when I struggle to find any discussions that interest me. That's when I start exploring other areas outside of my usual interests on here and generally find a couple which catch my attention. During the week I always manage to find stuff on here with minimum effort.

I have also felt like that but if we see carefully, we are able to see much discussions in our interests to participate. I think this due to our mood prevailing at the time only . Some other time, if I am in good mood, I used to post more than 20 posts at a stretch. On the other hand if my mood is not good,even I find some discussions, I will not participate in them and I feels like that I don't have anything to respond...

I had that problem for the last week. I first joined mylot around the middle of May. Each day I would probably spend about four or more hours on just responding and starting discussions. As time went on and in the morning I would log on I couldn't find any discussions that caught my interest and I slowly started drifting away. Now I come on to check it every so often and I might see something.
