help me pick out a new name for my kitty?

ive decided to get a new kitty for my new apartment. 
we decided to get him or her from the shelter. my boyfriend and i are looking for a name for the kitty. my boyfriend is thinking arnold...i dont like that one lol....or puppy. thats just mean...im not sure what i wanna name it...so if you have any ideas...let me know..

Why don't you wait until you meet your kitten? Usually they will tell you their name. Please get 2 kittens if you can. They play together and learn cat things from each other. Be sure to get kittens at least 9 weeks old so they don't have separation problems. Lots of luck with your new pets. Cats are the best; four live with me.

idk if i can get 2 kittens...if i could i would...but it just might not be possible at the moment. yeah i was thinking about waiting..

What about the name Monty? Well, the name could actually be Montgomery and you call it Monty for short. That's kind of a unique name. I have always liked that name and I don't think that it has been overly used by any generation for either an animal or for people. Good luck with your new pet!

lol i like it! ill suggest that one to my boyfriend! i cant wait to get the kitty and play with it! im excited. monty...well thanks!

With both my dog & my cat, I let them tell me what name they liked.
With the dog, my parents & I were arguing over what to name her. She didn't like the name she had from the shelter (refused to ever acknoledge it). My Mom wanted to call her Daisy, but I nixed the idea cause there were already 2 Daisys in the neighbourhood. When my Mom said What about Lily, the dog whined & ran over.
With the cat, I had a shortlist of 5 names I liked. After 4 other names, I said Quincy & he meowed at me. I tried it again, changing the order of the names & he only meowed for Quincy, so that became his name.
