because the place is just reeking with romance..all those old structures...and the feel of the place..it so cozy.

i think its cause french is supposed to be a really romantic language..and the notion of paris with all the lights is supposed to be romantic. but i can tell you that france is definitely NOT the most romantic country. i lived in france for 7 months and only met guys who just wanted to get me in bed...nobody romantic at all! although the country is incredibly beautiful, especially the south, so i guess it could be romantic if you are there with the right person!

I don't know why, but I've always thought so, and my french ex boyfriend was pretty romantic! Maybe it's all the culture of food and restaurants, and taking the time to really concentrate on food - and food is kind of romantic, if you take the time for it...
