My parents are celebrating their anniversary - what's a good gift to give them for their anniversary? I don't have any ideas right now because fathers' day is near and so is my father's birthday LOL it's a triple celebration on June! Any suggestions?

My dad has asked me about details about a digital camera, and I know he may wanna make records our daily life, so I think it must be the best gift for him and my mother would be happy that my dad is very excited to receive this gift. Hope you like this suggestion.

hi oyenkai, i think a plant may be a good gift for your parents. in this world of global warming, plantaion can control the pollution. and it can prevent this threat to our world and generation. last 28 may was my sister's b'day and i gifted her two plants. u can do it if you wish. offer your parents best of luck for their anniversary on behalf of me. thanks.

That's very good, it makes better if they are fruit trees, I would like to have plants as gift, unfortunately I don't have a garden for trees/huge plants. LOL

A bunch of 'dry' flowers and bowl of 'dry' fruits minced with your 'warm' kisses. This coincides triple celebration.

You could give them a gift according to how long they've been together, like silver for 25 years, gold for 50 years, etc. But you could also give them something they both like, perhaps something for their collection, if they have one. Or, like what my siblings and I do, we just chip in and take them out to dinner. Kinda brainless, but at least it gives them like a day off from chores and stuff.

I guess your gift depends on your parent personalities and interest. Do they love to travel to places? Does your budget permit to give them a weekend getaway? Time alone for your parents is an enjoyable thing. They can go reminisce old times when they where younger. Do they enjoy eating out. A restaurant reservation for two is also a very good idea. If you are not planning to surprise them, why not ask them what they want. Your dad may want a new gadget for his hobby and your mom a new kitchen appliance. Asking will give you an idea on what to buy, you may not afford it but atleast you could have a basis on what they want and really like. I hope my suggestions helped. Advance happy bithday and happy father's day to your dad and a happy anniversary for your parents.

Yes, my marriage anniversary is also coming closely. So I am also thinking what to gift to my partner in this day. For our gift items there are lot of things to think and select. First we have to think about our budget. Then we have to think for the quality. At last we have to think that what is his/her choice regarding the gift items. The gift items what we are thinking may very good to us but may not to them whom we are giving. So before selection of any gift items, think this points carefully and make your right decision. Because gift items have great values and some different meanings.

How many years have the been married? I know everyone knows about the golden and silver aniversaries, but there are things like that for every year (ex- your first wedding anniversary is paper) You could look online to see what corresponds with their annivesary and go with someting like that.
