Do you comment on discussion's even if you find it a little boring?

Sometimes, but not really. I try to reply to things that inteest me and that I feel I can make a positive contributon to. Every once in a while, I do, but it's not that often. I do agree that mylot is a community though. I am realivly new but I have enjoyed the discussions I have started and been a part of.

I base my replies on whether or not I feel like I have something to say. Even if I think it might be a boring topic and I do have something to add, I won't let that stop me. I will respond. All too often it's those ones that seem "boring" that are replied to and the people out there who have a legit question and really need some help don't get their questions answered. I try to answer or respond to a variety of discussions each day.

If they are on my friend list I really try to answer the discussion even if it is boring. Of course if I don't know how to answer it I don't even try. But if I have a decent reponse, I go ahead. Also, if the boring discussion is in question and there are no responses to it, I go ahead and answer even if they are not on my friend list. I'd hate for someone to feel like no one was intrested in a discussion they took the time to post.

Yes, I may at times. I like to show respect for the poster. Especially if they have responded to some of my discussions too. I will respond because I want to be able to help or give advice to this person. I am sure that every comment would be appreciated when the person reads all of the responses.

I normally go to the "no responses" section in mylot, to find discussion's that need and answer. I find many that I guess you could call boring, but maybe the person who started the discussion really thought it was a good question. If I don't know an answer I will put in a little research into finding information for the discussion. Sometimes when I start a discussion it may seem boring or stupid to some people, but mylot is to express yourself to help you with advice. At least that's my idea of why I'm here. So if people are going to answer and post on one of my discussions I will try to go out and try to do the same for other people. Even if their discussion is maybe boring.

I also responding to some boring discussion, when no one else responding to it. Because I really know how they feel when they don't receive any response. Beside that, those strategy could increase my reputation here. People will give plus rate to me or even better, they will mark me as the best response. It's no pain just responding to them, you will help them and they also will help you. That's the main reason.

Good point. We are a community and we should support one another. Heck I'd respond to everything if I weren't so lazy. My typing finger is getting tired! Bye!

i respond to boring topics...sometimes because im bored...lol i think that would be the reason.
