Fashion: A need or just a necessity?

I am currently working as a school registrar of a Fashion School and I am always surrounded by people who are very particular with Fashion... Since start, I am not dealing that much in fashion.. as long as I am wearing a descent one which is appropriate in my job description, that will do for me.
But I am wondering if much of people right now are 'fashionista', in which they deal to much for fashion. Are you one of these people who deal with it too much?

wow!you are a school registrar of a fashion school?honestly,I would kill for your job.I would like to work in the fashion industry,in any way possible.back to your question, being a fashionista doesn't meam wearing the current trends.being a fashionista is all about knowing what looks good on your body.being a fashionista means wearing your clothes with confidence.

Wow! you areally frustrated to work in a fashion school? Are you from the Philippines? Well, you should visit us. The owner of our school is an alumnus of Istituto Marangoni, one of the best fashion school in Europe and the school is aiming to be the best in ASia.
Anyweiz, I love your response. It is true that a fashionable is the one wear stuff with confidence as it is the way of expressing oneself.

Fashion is subjective and can't be measured by education or magazines. As long as your clothes fit your form and they are some what match you are fine, well at least in my eyes. In my line of work we don't deal with fashion because we have the same shirt. But in previous jobs I have dealt with it on some leave. I don't understand the people who insist on being "fashion focused" especially in today's world where the so called fashion trends just make people look stupid.

I love your response! Some people spend too much for it and they wear it for a week or so... AND THEY JUST WEAR IT FRO 2 WEEKS.. sigh...

Oh I'm sorry I'm not really one of those fashionistas =D nowadays I don't really care about my looks because I have other important priorities to focus on.. but of course I don't neglect my hygiene i believe that's still important.. i guess what's important is that you're comfortable and cool with your outfit because i'm not really the type who'd impress people through outfit.. maybe as long as i'd look presentable i'm okay with it.. =D

In my opinion it is just a necessity. Fashion thru times also evolves but right now you can see all people are craving for being fashionista. I hate that, because some people wants to be fashionable which they can't also afford to have it. whew. People really are just INSATIABLE!
