Why doesn't Team India look like a 'unit'? Why are the defending champions so shattered and in pieces? Why is Dhoni so unhappy with Virender Sehwag? In such a scenario can India defend the T20 crown? Time only has answers to all the questions. Currently, the Indian team doesn't seem to be that united as before. And it has come at the wrongest of the times. May the players publicly agree to this or not, but that's what is presently happening. The practice match against New Zealand showed this. Yuvraj was included in the playing squad but he neither batted nor bowled. Yuvi along with R P Singh preferred to watch the match and especially watch India bat from the pavilion's balcony rather than sitting in the dugout. Dhoni and Sehwag too seem to be on negative terms with each other. Reports have it that Dhoni has hinted at dropping Sehwag as the opener and is considering Rohit Sharma - who did a good job as an opener the other day - Ravindra Jadeja. The reason for this 'change'? Well, Dhoni wanted Sehwag to play in the practice match against New Zealand. But Sehwag on the other hand wanted to give his sour shoulder some more 'rest'. But on this point both Sehwag and Dhoni are right. As it was just a warm-up game, Sehwag could have used the opportunity to have a feel of the game and give some exercise to his shoulder - this might be Dhoni's ploy. But why risk the shoulder in an inconsequential match. Let me save the best for the rest - might be Sehwag's plans. Whatever be the reasons, all is public now. Indian fans should only hope that all's well with Team India. After all Team India is a family and squabbles are a part of the family life, ain't it?

well you can never be sure with the Indian team and dhoni has already made sehwag sit out of a one day match which was incidentally the finals of the commonwealth bank series in Australia against Australia. but no wise captain in his right mind would discard sehwag from a t20 tournament. i think the media pissed dhoni off by touting sehwag's injury as a rift between him and sehwag and in turn dhoni pissed the media off with his behavior in the press conferences. just think abut it even if dhoni did not want sehwag in the main matches he would have at least played him in the warm up matches which allowed 13 players to be played at a time.

I think there are some problems between those two guys. Because they were never good buddies and both have really opposite thinking. Sehwag who is also turning into senior players and so might face problems to get place in the Indian team. We will see about it in the West Indies Tour when Sehwag will be fine!!

Of course it is media hype. Sehwag is returning to India because of his shoulder injury. There is no battle between Sehwag and Dhoni. It just a media publicity trick .
