Hi my friends...yes, this might seem like an odd question but i'm curious to hear from all the mothers and fathers out there..what type of diapers do you prefer..For me, I always thought that pampers and huggies were of the same quality..However, after 3 children and many many many boxes of diapers, i've learned that Pampers seems to be better. I find that huggies doesn't keep everythign in the diaper, if you know what i mean ;) with pampers, there are much less accidents :) What do you prefer..?

Hi leyisa! I love pampers swaddlers for my baby. They are really soft, really flexible and they also smell kind of good. Their smell reminds me of baby powder. Have you tried their new ones? I think they are organic or something like that but they really well too. Happy mylotting!

Hi Txgrl - I normally use Pampers Baby dry b/c i find that it fits my daughter well...I also love the little sesame street character on it (although I think that is also the case with swaddlers). No, I hav enot tried the organic one..Is it pamper? I thought it was only huggies that had the organic diapers out there...

I actually don't like either one anymore, but, really do not like the generic brands even more. I used to be a big supporter of Pampers as I found they were more absorbent then the other brands. When I had my youngest (now 1 1/2) Pampers wasn't absorbent enough (she wasn't wetting right through, but I had to wake her up in the middle of the night to change her) so we started buying Huggies which are no better. Pampers is slightly more absorbent. Oddly, I find the pull-ups (Pampers or Huggies) to be a better product (I guess it's because I can see how wet she is by the appearance of the pictures on the front of the diaper). Huggies are supposed to conform to the child but I never found that it did, Pampers is supposed to be "the one" for comfort and absorbency. You know what would be really cool? If the child could speak up and say something like "Mom, these just aren't doing it for me"...of course, then I would probably pass out from shock at the sentence...lol. I guess the shorter answer would be Pampers (still). I won't go near the generic brands with a 10 foot pole as I don't feel you're saving any money if you have to buy double the amount due to all the bum changing;)

My friend - we are in agreement about Huggies ... it is suppose to confirm to the child but it really doesn't....When I had my first child, money was tight so sometimes I'd skip pampers and huggies all together and get "teddy's choice" or some other no name brand in order to same some cash....Worst mistake ever! Teddy's choice was horrible...the minute she'd pee, even if it was little, her clothes would be wet...You are right - I ended up spending more money in the end b/c I kept having to buy more diapers... LOL -yes, if a child could speak at a young age, it would solve a lot of our problems. My youngest is 2 months old right now and sometimes I just want to understand what all the crying is about :) I've mastered the hunger crying..but still trying to separate the pain crying from the diaper wet crying from the i want to be held crying...:)

I have to agree with you I have found that pampers are the better nappy especially with my youngest son. Huggies do not keep the wetness in and I found that that meant that he required a lot more changes. I have used both for all 5 of my children but have always preferred pampers for them all.
