How do you love someone you've Never meet or known before....

Dont be suprise at this heading,a lot of people are face with no choice in this kind of situation,a friend of mine is getting married to a woman he hardly known just to fufill his father wish.he asked for my opinion and i told him he will get to love and know the person with time but he was not satisfied with that,so i believe i will get better opinions in here so i can get back to him before he does something out of proportion.

Arranged marriages is quite common in some cultures and there is a definite reason for this. In my country, in rural areas, it is very common for very young boys and girls to be married off as arranged by their parents. Cheers!!

It is not easy to love someone you never meet or known before. You have to meet and know her before you can feel love.
Even in the sake of his father's wish, he should not sacrifice his feelings. The better way is meet and know the girl before he decide.

Well i guess it could be possible. They may get to know each other and really love each other. But i think marrying someone is a big step and shouldnt be taken lightly, and shouldnt be dont to please someone else. He should at least meet this girl and few times to see if they get a long and what she is like before he makes such a big commitment to her. Would his father really want him to marry someone he doesnt love just for the sake of it? But i guess before i judge i should ask what the purpose behind it is, why does he feel like he has to marry a random girl to fufill his fathers wish?
