I would have to say my aunt. She has helped me in so many area of my life, I look to her as more of a mother figure then an aunt. Back in 2003 I came down to visit her but I never left, until I found my own place in her area. She was there when I found out being preganant with my son. She took me to all of my doctors appointments. She was my inspration to go to college. We both went to school together and we were going for the same degree. That was fun, going to class together.. She taught me how to do a lot of things when my son was born. I was COMPLETELY CLUELESS! Then recently she helped me find my own place in this world.. something not too big but not too small.. In a quiet area, that happens to be about a half a block away.
I also found out that while I was growing up, even through my real mom kept me away, she was in the background making sure that my sister and I were ok. I dont know what my life would have been like if I never met her.. I love her soooo much.

Who are you closest to?
Wow sjvenden, that was such an inspirational story, I really enjoyed reading it and it almost gave me goose bumps. So what did you wind up majoring in at college if you don't mind me asking? That must have been a lot of fun to have you aunt there with you. She sounds like such a wonderful person and you are truly fortunate to have had her in you life. Wishing you all the best and big hugs to you and Auntie too! I'm an Aunt myself and I guess that is why your story touched my heart so much. One day my niece who had became a grown woman came to me and told me that she remembered back when I used to take her to church. Well I had long since forgotten all about it but apparently she never forgot and she still attends church today and has become very successful with her life. Anyhow when she told me that she never forgot about me it caused tears to swell up in my eyes. I thank God because he uses us to inspire and to lead others. So hopefully I helped to lead her in the right way just as your Aunt did. Take care and have a wonderful weekend and life. Happy Mylot.

Wow! Thank you for giving me the best response, didnt think I would find something like that in my email today.. Yes my aunt is a god send... I talk to her each and everyday.. No I didnt finsh my degree in Computer Networking yet, have a couple obstacles in the way of that dream.. But I will do it one day, just have to get a couple other things straight first. I am glad that I reminded you of some happy moments in your life, I guess that is what made me so wanting to write back tonight..lol dont mind me tired tonight.. If my aunt never was in my life I do not think I would reconize myself.. She has taught me so many lesson, and is soooo patient.. I love her dearly..

I feel closer to my mother as she tends not to judge me and if she thinks something is wrong she will suggest other ways and ideas rather than say you have got to this and you have got to that like everyone else.I can talk to my mother like i can a friend and tell her what ever i like knowing it will not go any futher.I am always made to feel happy about myself by the time i leave her company and she has never let me down.Happy mylotting.

Hello Jugsjugs, that is wonderful that you have someone to be able to talk to about anything, your mother sounds like such a loving soul. You are truly blessed to be able to have someone like her in your life. I can talk with my mom about some things but I could never talk with her about all things because she would just continue to think about things in her own way. I always hoped that I would be different when I had children and although I try, still somehow my mother finds a way to come out in me, lols. I know it sounds kind of crazy but I guess I'm really so much like my mom in more ways than one. Take care and enjoy your mom and the time you spend with her. Have a great weekend too! Happy mylot!

I feel that my parents are the one that are the closest to me. Even though I dont see them that often I believe they have my best interest at heart. They are always there for me. They are the closest to me emotionaly. Unfortunately my wife is not the closest person to me.

Who are you the closest to?
Hello Marriedman, It's good to hear that you are still close to your parents. Usually when a man gets married he looses that close connection with his parents. Sorry to hear that your wife isn't the closest one to you. Maybe you two should try to work on that because marriage is such that the spouse really should be the closest one to us. I don't know if I can say that I am closest to anyone. It seems to me that there are many people I feel close to but they don't feel the same way. I would like to feel that I am closest to my sons. Cheers!!

I would say that I am closed to my mom. She is the person worry about me the most, and she would do anything for me. For that I would understand. I love to share everything with her, and she would give me her version of advise. Although not all the advises are good ones, but at least she give her best for me.

Kudos to Mom, Usually moms would win out everytime whenever it comes to this kind of discussions. Hee hee, I guess I'm closest to mine also but because we can just about talk about anything, anyhow I know that I love her so much and is it fair to say that there is noone that can take the place of a real loving caring mother? At this time in my life I am closest to my 3 year old granddaughter. We spend each day up to 8 to 10 hours together. She is my sunshine and she makes me laugh and smile each and everyday.
