If you eat chicken out do you like KFC or Popeye's better? Which one is the deal

If you eat chicken out, do you like KFC or Popeye's? Which restaraunt do you think has the better deal? I love KFC. I see commercials for Popeye's that show a little bit of savings on takeout.
I ate at Popeye's twice. Both times there were FEATHERS in the chicken pieces. GROSS. I can't believe they had actual feathers coming out of fried chicken. It was already cooked and the feathers were sticking out of the batter. How can they overlook something like that. Better yet, how can the health department overlook it?
I will eat KFC forever now.

Popeyes, like KFC is a franchise. I have heard it is not the same outside of New Orleans but I wouldn't know because I hardly ever eat fast food chicken and when I do I prefer Chick-fil-A nuggets because they are very lean and never over or undercooked.

I can tell you in Fl. and in Al. about 900 miles apart both Popeye's had feathers. LOL I think they were trying to give the chicken a fighting chance to fly away. LOL
I've never been to a Chik-fil-A. Can't say as I want to even think about chicken nuggets. That's all my kids eat so I don't want to see anymore than I have to. LOL

I am not a huge fan of chicken period but I like the nuggets because they are not pieces parts like most of the fast food restaurants. I can not believe you had feathers in your food!

I must admit that I am more of a fan of KFC. We seldom go out to eat , but I think I like Kfc a whole lot better.
But If we are talking about preference here , I really really like of all places.. Ready for this one.. Give me WAL_MART chicken!! Funny Huh ??

Oh, I love Wal-mart's rotisserie. My husband likes the fried chicken from Wal-mart. I can't stand the fried chicken at Wal-mart though. It may smell good but I don't think it tastes good. LOL I like KFC best except I would rather have the rotisserie any day. Have you tried KFC grilled? We had that, but I thought it lost a lot of the "grilled" taste.

Hubby loves KFC but it is way too expensive. I usually just buy it at the local deli and he really likes that. I usually get those chicken tenders for me. I do remember that when I lived in Texas they had a Popeye's there and they did have good chicken but that was over 18 years ago.

I won't go to a popeye's again. I do love KFC though. We got a coupon for a 15 piece bucket of chicken for 9.99. That is like the best deal. LOL We buy the chicken and I cook the sides. It makes for a "homecooked" meal with half the work and half the mess. LOL

I also love KFC. I live in california, and there are many place for chicken. El Polo loco is also good, church chicken is also good... they all close by my house. now u make me want to eat chicken again :)

i like popeye's the best for sure. everytime i go, i get the 3 spicy chicken strip combo with mashed potatoes and gravy, a biscuit, and dr. pepper. i like the crust on the chicken better than kfc because it is crunchier and more flavorful to me. one time i got a buffalo $1 sandwich at kfc and i thought it was really gross, it tasted like pure vinegar. one bad thing about popeyes is that there are less cheap menu items. i love it though. and the red beans and rice are awesome!

I don't really like fried foods so I don't eat the other foods at KFC, nor popeye's. The sandwich just sounds gross on all levels. I'm not very fond of the crunch so I could see why you would choose one over the other. I like KFC original and now grilled chickens the best.
