Have you ever stolen anything from a store?

...Ok my fellow mylotters - I confess that when I was younger, i use to steal things..Mostly food and magazines actually. it was a long bus ride between my house and my school so sometimes on teh way home, I would go to the local grocery store and steal chips, cookies, etc to eat on the bus. I would also steal magazines (in those days, the teeny bopper magazines were a big hit). Anyhow, I stole for a couple of years, always little things, until I got caught once..never did it again! So you've heard my confessions - now tell me yours...Have you ever stolen anything from a store? where you caught?

I have stolen from a store before when i was younger.
it was stupid stuff like candy and little weird toy things...
a lot of times i don't know why i stole them. maybe out of boredom? maybe wanting to be bad? i don't know. but i do know if i had asked my mom she more then likely would of bought them for me...but maybe not it all. i kind of got caught but i covered myself and nothing happened. i gave it back to the store. i had told them i placed it down but really i had it in my underwear! lol

hi Sameroad - Yes, I agree that perhaps it was out of boredom, as well as rebelion. AT that time, I thought I could get away witih anything and I kept trying to push the limits..hahah..but just as you said, had I asked my mom, i'm sure she would have gotten it for me.

I was a little bit of a wimp when I was younger. But I did steal something once, just once! I remember being in a store with my mother and thinking 'go on, go on!'. So I did, it was a small eraser with a lovely little pattern squiggled all over. I think I only did it because I knew I wasn't supposed to as I never had the urge to do it again!
