Yes the fanbase of cricket is pretty stron and large in number. But badmiton too is an interesting game. Moreover Badminton had its origin in India and the game was previously known as Poona. Mnay says it was from the place Pune the game had its origin. But it is a game originated in India and we must always love the games that had its origin in our Country.

Even I like cricket personally and it is my favourite sport. I love cricket and i am quite crazy about it. It is a game being invented by the britishers for the benefit of Indians. Sachin Tendulkar is my favourite cricketer. Although Football is the most famous game in this world till date, soon cricket will replace football as the most famous game as the 20-20 is creating more charisma and excitement among the people of all parts of the world and it is receiving an overwhelming response across the globe. Hence it is absolutely evident that cricket is going to be the most famous sport in India as nothing can beat cricket in this sub continent and its fame will be always at an increasing curve.

My friends are very much in the same line as myself. Some are just not as keen as I am on sport but when they support, it is more or less the same. That goes for family as well. Blessings

My favourite sport is cricket too. But I like tennis as well. I have become fond of tennis just two years ago when I started seeing the rivalry between nadal and federrer! Hope Indian sports excel in this field too to a great extent and make it here as popular as cricket!!

well if you have debate with girls i am sure most will favor badminton over cricket. every sport has a quality it teaches but my favorite sport is cricket. it teaches many of the values a person needs in life. discipline, patience, bravery are just some of the virtues cricket teaches. it also needs mental toughness which is essential is all the important things in life. and the greatest part is it is a team game so it teaches us to be happy in the success of others and share sad moments with others. all in all i think cricket teaches a lot of life values and i like it the most than any other sport.
