My husband is so not into video games. He was not real thrilled about getting the Wii, but he figured if it helped us get a bit in shape it's worth it. Well, he has been on it quite a bit this morning. He really likes the sports games it came with and has done a lot more on the Wii Fit than I have. He told me today that he could just play it all day and not get anything around the house done. Oh, wait till he sees me playing Zelda...

Isn't the Wii fun? My son bought me one for Christmas the year before last. I've had fun with the Wii Sports package, although it IS exhausting! I thought it was so cool to have a video "game" where it makes us be more active, especially with kids today, who sit glued to the sofa or chairs playing video games WAY more than I ever did! Of course, when I was a kid, we didn't have video games. I was a teen when 'Pong' came out and adored it! We sure have come a long way in technology, huh? LOL Your husband may get very little done around the house from now on, but he'll be in better shape and a lot healthier! I'm going to have to get Wii Fit. With my medical problems and constant pain, I might not be able to play with it for long periods of time but even a little bit would be better than nothing! Hmmm... if there was only some way to combine myLotting with the Wii... I KNOW I'd be addicted to that!

I'm actually getting ready for my first Wii workout now! Oh and it would be awesome if there was a way to Wii and myLot at the same time... We can only hope...

Will do, muscles! Right now, with only the Wii Sports package, I'm rather addicted to the tennis game. You'd be amazed at how much it makes you move around! I'm exhausted after about 5 minutes of playing but, after a rest, I'm good to go for another 5 minutes! LOL I want to get that 'step pad' thing with the Wii Fit. It doesn't take up a lot of room at all and, at least if you have carpeting or a rug, it shouldn't bother the neighbors. But, the Wii is a rather expensive thing, especially if you get it only to play Wii Fit, so going to the gym is a much better alternative, in my opinion; for you, at least. For me, a gym membership wouldn't pay for itself because I would only be able to go very rarely. Just getting to the gym would be exhausting for me! But, the Wii Fit will have to wait for awhile, either until we get all our bills caught up or if I EVER get approved for disability! I'll let you know, though, as soon as I do get it.

I know as soon as I start getting those games I will be playing constantly! I'm going to have to set a time limit for myself...

That's too funny. Some times I think I need to set a time limit for me to be in MY Lot but that would be cruel and unusual punishment for me. lol

You watch him get trim but don't let him pull a muscle,or lay himself up.We have the wii fit and my teenager spends ages on it,he is not very physically big so he is working on his body.Bless him ,he keeps saying look mum my muscles are getting bigger and although I can see no change,I say yes he is so cute.He is trying so hard to be a muscle man but he just has not got the build for it,I tell him just keep playing football and keep fit and it will happen soon. You have to encourage them.

My husband actually enjoyed the Wii yesterday. I was surprised he wasn't on it this morning yet! The Wii is helping your son, even if it's just his morale :)

Yes, my mom got addicted to Wii Fit, she does it aorund 30 minutes or more each day. I bought it for her for Christmas I think.. But, I don't think the Wii really helps out a lot on losing weight, but it is just fun, the physical fun. The Wii, has an interesting way to get people to get excited. They get the people, actually moving their arms, instead of their fingers. I am very pleased with the Wii! =)

This is about the only exercise he really gets so I'm sure it'll help some. I still have to do the personal trainer thing we got with it. I think that one is more strenuous than the Wii fit.
