what is your ratio (hardwork:luck)

Almost Everybody in this world is working very hard to get those glittering bucks in their pocket but some are purely dependent on luck. I think luck plays a parallel role in life. A person who wins a ticket of lottery, doesn't work hard but its his luck to get those winning amount. Person starts a business, He puts lot of efforts to make it successful but at the end, it fails...so i think its a game of 50:50. You can not get what is not in your destiny and no body can take back what is in your destiny. What do you say?

Ya there is a saying,that Do Your part correctly,the balance will be in god's hands.So there is ratio not 50:50........Only our part:Gods.For each category the ratios eill be different.

well said...everybody should play their part and rest on GOD...i have just started a home based business and working hard on my part and rest on GOD.

i beleive much on hard work...and the ratio i can put like 75;25...75 for hard work and 25 for luck...many people when not successful blame their luck...but ihave understood from many facts of my life, that if you continue to persue your goals you will be successful at last....my husband has started almost from zero and today he is very successful businessman, all with his hard work....and i have tried many many times in stocks, commodities, shares and at last in forex...where i had loses many times, but i wanted to learn..the basics of all are nearly same and at last i am successful in earning positively and good in forex

its not that everybody becomes successful in life but there is a chance for everyone to be successful and very few recognizes that opportunity and becomes successful.

Unfortunately,my lucky is poor.Everytime there is a chance to lucky draw I will be the last one.Sometime the lucky is so important that it can helps to sucess.Without it the sucess could be delayed for years.But I think most of the time the lucky will not come without hardwork.So maybe the ratio is 80:20.

everybody has their luck. no body is poor in luck its just a matter of timing...may be your turn is yet to come. so wait and try to catch the opportunity comes your way as opportunity never knocks the door before coming...you just need to recognize it.

wow.good topic.^.^To be honest,my luck is oK.I always get something by accident that I really want it.So I think my ratio is 50:50.and my mom thought that I was a hardworking girl.I am sticking to my dream.So I got a tiny conclusion,maybe if we make more efforts in our life,we will get the luck.

yes, true. hard work is required but luck is also required....everybody on the net is working hard to earn money but only lucky people will have that and who knows when your luck will get that....
