What fulfills a blogger?

I am a new blogger and I am just testing the waters... I am a stay at home mom, taking care of 2 kids. I plan to venture into blogging as my means of earning a few bucks while my eldest is in school and while my new born is sleeping...
It makes me wonder though why bloggers keep on blogging. Is it the earnings? The comments that they receive? Or some other things? Your input will be very much appreciated. thanks! by the way, this is my very first participation here in my lot so please be kind to respond. thanks again...

First of all welcome to mylot. I hope you have a really good time here.
Now, coming back to your question, though I am not that experienced in the blog-sphere and certainly not a successful' one, but I know a few things about it.
First of all a lot of traffic is what every blogger longs for, even if you are not there for financial needs, you need people to come and see what you have to share and if you are there for money, then again traffic is the first thing you have to have.
From there on the purpose drives the fulfillment of the intentions.

finding lots of traffic is quite hard. but i think that if we have good content then that we will find it easy to promote our blog and get traffic into our site.

The majority of bloggers use blogging to share their ideas to other people but for me, i use blogging to make some real cash online.. i have been into blogging industry for almost three years and i can really say that blogging helped me to achieve some of my simple dreams in life like going to beautiful places i have never seen before..

well, if you are new to blogging world, then know that it is not EASY to earn from blogging. It needs a lot of hard work, smart work, Search engine optimization techniques etc etc.. You will have to keep on working for a year or two tirelessly and diligently. Perseverance, hard work and intelligence may at last make you earning, it is less than 0.1% I think.
