Do you find that when you are in mylot, you neglect things that need to be done?

Since it is summer, I need to do yard work, but I hate yard work, and I hate weeds. I just find that when II come in mylot, I can't seem to tear myself away long enough to get things done that I neglect things and they they start to pile up. I just have to tell myself that I need to get things done, whether it be yard work, housework, laundray or anything else that needs to be done. Mylot is just such a great place to be that I just can't see myself doing anything else. I am having so much fun in here that I just want to be in here everyday for as long as I can. I like the fact that I can share with others my views whether people agree with me on them or not. I have learned so much from others, and I hope that other users have learned from me as well. So, I guess you can say, that I really do neglect things that need to be done. How about the rest of you? Share with the rest of us. Happy mylotting.

Many times I find this happening. When I should be doing something else, I will find myself busily posting away here in myLot and then want to hit myself because I end up having to rush around to get the things done I should have been doing instead. But since I have so much Fun posting here, and meet so many wonderful people here, it is definately worth it in the end.

I agree with you as definitely is worth it. I have found myself being here so long one day, that time was slipping away that it was almost time to go to bed, and I was still in here. I just couldn't believe it either. I have also spent so much time in here, I have neglected to eat like I should. I know I need to eat, but it just way to much fun to get up and get anything to eat. I have been doing better lately though, as now I will eat and then come back in to post some more. I find myself now, quitting a couple of hours before I go to bed, as I have a tycoon gme I like to play so I will pay it and then go to bed. I certainly do enjoy nyself in here though and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

I used to be here in mylot all the time, but as of late i have so many things that are taking up a lot of my time, and I really miss being here and reading all the wonderful discussions.

I miss mylot when I can't be here too, but I have other things to do that I have to to taketime to do them, even though I really don't want to. I would much rather be in here than do my daily tasks. Right now though, as it is fall, I was getting ready to do my leaves when lo and behold, my neighbor came over and di them for me. He said he would take care of them for me, and I sure do appreciate it too, as it give me more time to be in here and not have to worry about them. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

It's kind-of reverse thinking for me: I get on MyLot specifically to avoid doing those other things! Eventually I get tired of sitting still and that motivates me to go do the other stuff I've been avoiding. If I were doing "chores" or whatever first, I'm sure I would be thinking, "boy, I wonder what I'm missing on MyLot!".

Ya, I guess I am that way too, as when I come in here I try to avoid doing as much s possible, but my butt will get tired after awhile and I have to get up and do what I need to do and stretch my legs. I do forget to walk the dogs when I am in here and I think they really get upset with me for that one lol. Well, have a very good day, and happy mylotting.

My philosophy on this is that I get paid for the time I spend here at MyLot...I do not get paid for doing things such as cutting my grass, cleaning my office, or other things like that. I need all the help financially that I can get right now, so I don't mind putting off the things I do not get paid for as long as I can make some extra money on mylot or on any of the few other things I get paid for online.

You know, you are right about that. We aren't getting paid for doing things around the house, so why not come in here when we know we will get paid. I like this site so much that I really do neglect doing the things I should, but they do eventually get done. They sure don't get done to fast though, as I come bck in heee and do some more. Hi,
I try to find the time to have five minutes on Mylot & very often find I spend five hours!!! Get delayed with the housework, walking the dog and leaving for work at the very last minute!!!
It can get very distracting!! I'm with you on that I like to see what other people are chatting about & their views regardless if they are the same as mine. I have had my point of view changed because of Mylot users!

I am like you. I don't intend to spend all that many hours in here, but it is just to hard to leave once I come in here. I have forgot to eat, by being in here as well, as the time would just fly by. I would look at my clock on the computer, and I can't believe that I had been in here as long as I had, and not eat. I always wonder why I am so hungry, now I know lol. Take care and happy mylotting.

Mylot makeds me happy too, and it seems like my life has changed since I have been in here, and for the better too. I am glad I found mylot, but I sure wish Ihad found it sooner. Now that I ma here though, I don't intend to go anywhere. Now, if I can just tear myself away to get things done.

yes i do stay here way to much. right now theres tons of things to be done. not to mention other sites i should be doing and exercise i should be getting. thank goodness its not entirely a waste. at least we are making a little money which we dearly need these days.
