Have you heard of the great change on Helium?

Great news from Helium. Helium members no longer need a rating star to get upfront payments for their articles. I think this is great I was beginning to become disinterested in Helium. I had done a lot of rating before, way more than the required minimum and still I hadn't gotten a rating star. Now I just have to put in articles useful enough to keep my writing star going and I will continue to get paid for each article. Did you already know about this change to Helium? How does this effect you?

I'm sure that will change a few things at Helium, I don't write for them but I might have to check it out now. Thanks.

Also Helium accepts articles you have previously published non-exclusive elsewhere. So check it out and look me up, same name as here on myLot.

It's always good to have changes, especially good changes which concerns payments ^_^ IN a way, this is good because it minimise the chances of scammers trying to take advantage of the whole rating system ^_^ SO, it actually benefits those real writers in that site ^_^ IT's good for bad, but definitely bad for those lazy members there.. haha =D

I do not understand how you could have done all that rating and not acquired a single rating star. That makes absolutely no sense to me. Although, there is an algorithm or something that keeps track of the way you rate compared to the rates of others so if the computer thinks you are not legitimately reading and rating compared to what others have voted it may be the reason. Have you ever received the rating bonus?

The rating bonus is $3 if you rate 500 articles in a month. I decided to work toward getting it this past month and I now have 5 rating stars. The last two weeks I barely had time to check email let alone rate or contribute any new articles and my 5 stars remained intact. Give it a try.
