I just saw the Sims 3 at Frys (in Oxnard, CA)and i was wondering. It is worth it? I played the Sims 2 only twice. And didn't quite like it. I really like all the originals. I Own The Sims Complete Collection. I love love love it! and ive seen a few videos about the newest one. It looks like a whole lotta fun! the different personalities has me sold... i think? but i need some info. Will it be Worth it? Is it fun?

I think it looks great. I love sims 2 I am very addicted to it, as I think you get so much more control over your sims lives than in the first one. I think it gets a bit of getting used to but once you get into it it's hard to stop. I won't be buying the sims 3 as it won't run on my laptop but my sister is getting it for her PC and I will be definately having a go on it!!

I was totally addicted to Sims 1 for a long time then it got boring so I stopped playing it. I never played Sims 2 and don't know anyone that did. I bought Sims three and installed it a week ago. I am already totally addicted. I have been up till the wee hours of the morning almost everyday playing it. You can do so much more in this one than in the first one. You can follow your sim to work, follow the kids to school, set their personality, make them perfectionists, bookworms, evil, and kleptos. It is AWSOME and, I feel, totally worth it.

Well Iv always liked the sims 2 but I haven't yet played the Sims 3, but I saw the commercials and it looks pretty good to me so as soon as it becomes more affordable for me I think I will get it.

I still prefer the original Sims, but I can't find it anywhere. I have the Sims 2, and also have Life Stories. To tell you the truth, I can't see any difference between those two....except for the expansion pack. I think the only difference in the Sims 3 is that you can make your Avatars into things like Cleptos.

Cleptos! i think that sold me! all Sims always seemed to Dull. the only time they acted "Normal" or "Crazy" was when they would have a meltdown in Sim SuperStar... it was funny and scary when it would happen, and made a Sim actually seem like he/she was having a tough time.

Hi Bolonia01, did you buy The Sims 3 in the end? I hope you did because it is a fantastically fun game, I love it, it is much more indepth than the others, with all the traits and being able to customize the look of pretty much everything being two of my favourite new features. Let me know if you got it and what you think of it.
