My electric bill right now is $31.00 this month. The highest it has been was $51.00 back in January. The gas bill is usually high in the winter time. As high as $186.00. This month its only $23.27. Which is great. I just wish it was like that all year round.

For electric bill, I pay around $65 monthly. This is when I use air-conditioner. It gets really hot in my country so during summer, I can't stop myself from turning it on. But, without it, I think my bill is just around 30-40USD.

At the moment I live alone in a four bedroom house and and my monthly power bill comes around $NZ 35. I have running lights, one TV, DVD player, Cable Decoder & router, one Laptop, Router for Internet, washing machine, a large Fridge/Freezer, microwave and several kitchen appliances. Around this time last year I had 3 other people living with me and there was the same amount of electric appiliances in the house expect maybe some of my flamates had heaters and laptops going on there rooms and I was paying around $NZ 200. Since I am living alone at the moment, I keep all the appiliances turned off at the wall and the only thing that I keep on is what I am using. I think that doing what I am doing is helping to save me a lot of money.

We pay about $60 a month for two people. We have a fridge, separate freezer, washing machine, dryer, heaters, 3 computers and 2 tvs that are all used regularly. Sometimes if your appliances are old your bills will be more for the same number of appliances that you use. Here, all major appliances have to have a sticker on them which indicates how efficiently they use power, so if you are concerned about it, you can check the rating for an appliance that will be cheaper to run.
