Hmmm,, I've never had an encounter with silly putty in the hair. But I know that peanut butter is supposed to work with removing gum..! I don't know what silly putty is made of but when I was five years old, I left my silly putty out of its egg - I had set it atop of my dresser and the next day it had eaten the paint off!!!! I see from other posts/replies that crisco and, or pam will work.. I'd try the mild grease items before using vinegar, but, then, perhaps vinegar may be the best. Do keep away from the eyes though!!!

It's a boy? Buzz his hair, it will grow back. Time for a brush cut!
