I have a friend that was a powerseller on ebay, he said it was pretty hard to maintain. I wish you luck and maybe I'll find you on there and buy something from you . I'll never be a powerseller since I dont have enough stuff to sell on there, and the things I list rarely sell (wish I knew why).

Thanks. I know its hard to maitain that's why I grab it, so I know how it feels and to have a taste of the discounts (as we know how expensive it is to sell too with all the fees ebay and paypal get). I might not be able to maitain it but that ok.. LOL.. anyways, what are you selling?

Right now I have a guitar listed for the second time. They (ebay) sort of tricked me I think saying if I relist it I wont have to pay the extra insertion fee if it sells, and then thinking about it, it doesn't say they wont charge me if it doesnt sell. so I'm expecting to be charged twice for listing the guitar since it wont sell. there are some people watching it but none of them bidding. I'm really thinking of signing up with one of those drop shipping companies that have millions of products to sell and they charge you wholesale and ship products out from their warehouse, but even if I did that I wouldn't make powerseller since I don't have time or money to list a lot of things at once.

you are right. If it sells the second time they wont charge you (they will refund the 2nd listing fee if it sells). Its like they have it wrong. I am thinking that it should be the other way around (if it sells the 2nd time then they should charge you but if not then they should not be charging us). I was thinking the same thing about drop shipping. But my concern is what if I am selling enough items to pay for the drop shipper? most of my items are vintage or old stuff from an estate sales or flea market or garage sale or local auction. Find a niche and stick with it. Electronics are also good, like ipod and etc. Send me a PM with your ebay user and I will send mine too. That way you can see what Im selling and I can take a look at what you are selling. And maybe we can help each other about drop shipping or anything (ebay related :D)

It's really good that you had managed to get the PowerSeller title. I feel it do gives more credibility to your future sales. For me, I do think it's hard to be a PowerSeller. I don't have that many things to sell, and most of those I sold are things I don't need, but are still usable.

Thats a start then you can go for more. Go to garage sales or local auctions or a 2nd hand store. I usually got my items in that places.

Well, that's an idea. I will consider it. However, I will have to do the research first to see if it's worthwhile to do it in my area...
