Do the discussions about EATING make you hungry???

I found it is interesting that when I create or read the discussions about EATIN... when I write about how to make your ice cream, I really want ice cream; when I respond to the discussions about steak, I want to go make steak for lunch immediately!... But when it comes to eating, I just have great interests about it, I cannot not talk about it but it always ends up make me want the food that I talk about! Are you like this too?

I bet most people will feel the same when they are reading articles about food. The desire for food get even stronger when I read those blogs with images of the food. It really takes some effort to stop myself from going to the restaurants immediately.

These discussions don't affect me that much, but sometimes, when there is a conversation about a tasty meal that I have forgotten and haven't ate for a long time, it turns me on :D

I guess so, when I read something about cake I visualize cake in my thoughts. When someone is talking about barbeque I will go out and look for barbeque. When we see food in our thoughts we feel it too, we want to taste that food because we already tasted it we just remember how delicious is the taste it.

Hello mermaidivy, I think it is because of temptation. Whenever I talk about food, I do feel hungry. During my office hours, there is a Japanese cooking program which is on air every day around 10 am. Whenever I see what the chef cooks, I think of food immediately and it makes me really hungry and can't wait for my lunch break!

Sometimes I am like that. My fiance and I are our now on a diet, I'm kinda trying to steer clear of discussions about food now, but even so most of the time we don't have the ingredients to make the food a person suggest, is talking about, or has had for supper, lunch, dinner, breakfast... brunch... lol, well you get what I mean.

Yes, they do!There was a discussion about pizza.I love pizza and I when I hear this word, an image of hot and tasty pizza appears in my mind. And I want it so much! When there's a wonderful summer day and someone talks about their favorite ice cream, I want to have it immediately.Potato chips, chicken sometimes work like magic words too.But this happens when I'm a bit hungry.

Sometimes they do but I don't let it get the best of me. I'm trying to loose a bit of weight right now so I don't get tempted to easily. Unless they have a greta picture of perfection in description then it does not make me hungry. I'm not like that. Lol.

I eat more when iam under stress.that is what i noticed.otherwise i usually collect lot of recipes and cook only few of them.so they dont make me hungry.i just want to cook and feed others..if possible all these recipes.but kids are small and all that baking and cooking makes me fat...so i dont cook all those recipes.so it is more like want to cook than eat for me.

Hey guys, you really funny. sometimes it does come to me too. but not eating. for me may be basketball, after I watch NBA I really want to play basketball and I do with my classmate when I was in university. but now it goes less and less because I don't have too much time to do that.

With me it really depends on the food that's the topic of discussion. For instance, I almost always want ice cream, but I don't really like steak. But for the most part, I do get hungry during food discussions.
