Mother nature takes good care of preggy dogs so you just have to keep her safe and give her good food. As the time grows close she will want a bed to deliver in, I always make sure the bed has a good washable cover and after all pups are delivered I can change it. If you are there when the pups come don't do anything unless one becomes distressed. Best to look on internet or in your Vet book for ideas on how to deal with these. it's not uncommon to loose a pup so be watchful. What kind of dog is she? Large dogs can have many pups, small dogs usually have one to three. Good Luck After birth Mom will need more calories to feed the little ones.

Always make sure food is available because its kinda like a pregnant woman, we get more hungry than usual! When the big day is looming about 2 weeks before set up a place for the dog to give birth, using lots of towels and making it as comfortable as possible! After the birth the dog should be okay, they are built to give birth too. She will clean the pups and feed them if one of the pups is getting less nourishment than the other pups then try and get that one closer to mum as opposed to the other. There is a very slight chance that the dog will get post-natal depression (belive it or not). If this happen you will need o hand rear the pups, I cant help here as this has never happened to me but I have been told about it! If you need any help before or after the birth add me as a friend and pm me when you need help! good luck and goive the dog extra cuddles!! She will appriciate it!

just like any mom , they need tender loving care. Have her eat more than the usual to make milk for her pups. usually, them dogs has the instinct to take care of themselves in this situation.
