Is anyone working on Mturk? What do you do with the money you earn?

I have been in Mturk for about 15 days, you can earn quite fast, but, you can only redeem to a bank account in the USA or in India, I am not in any of those countries, so the only option I have is to redeem to Gift certificates from Amazon.com, so my big question is, what can you buy with those gift cards? I shall wait to earn, something like 400 U$S so it´s worth the purchase? What do you do? Any suggestion?

I'm from the US so I don't have this problem. I like Mturk a lot but I wouldn't bother with it if you can't cash out I guess. I haven't had much time to get on their though. I have been working with another site called ciao and I am earrning faster there. I spend 20 minutes there and earn 2.00 thats almost a full time job in the US. As for mturk is there no way you can set up an online bank account in the US?

Amazon has a lot of products, I think you can make a search and find books that interest you.
They have other products too but I don´t know if they ship them to your country..

I think you can buy anything Amazon sells with those gift cards that they give out for MTurk. I was on Mturk once - however, I'm also from the US so I don't have this problem. It's up to you whether you want to make that $400 and staying knowing that you probably will not see the cash - but will only see the material of whatever it is you decide to buy.
