Cats on my back porch

This is so cute there are cats on my back porch. There is a black one and a calico one. I think they came on my porch to get out of the heat. The weather here is just so hot today. Do you ever find cats on your porch?

oh, and not on my back step, the dogs are back there, but how do you think I found the ferals? I've been feeding mom since last summer (except I thought at first she was a he.)

Maybe next time I will get a picture. I am going to put some food and water out for them. I think they may be strays.

Well uh not on my porch but theres 5 little grey and white tabby strays running around mine and my neighbors yard. They were born under her back porch and i've taken to feeding, watering and giving em nicknames... I'm trying to catch the one i've dubbed 'Splotches' and am praying its a girl cause we cant have any males inside... We already have a male, hes territorial, dont need fights.

We find a lot of cats here on the ranch, people seem to think that they are doing their unwanted cats a favor dropping them by a creek or a barn. Really it's very sad, we are able to save so few the rest are to wild by the time we discover them and become breakfast or lunch to the predators around.
