Okay, I admit, I have :) It was during my primary school, where there is school canteen and it is so crowded with students who wants to buy their lunch, the canteen keeper cannot look whether the student pays or not. So, instead paying for some food I take, i secretly sneak out and did not get caught by them :) I also did it once in a grocery, sneak out a chocolate bar and also did not get caught. I never do it again because I know it is wrong, but the suspense from it made me laughed when I remember it. So, do you ever shoplifting? Or maybe caught somebody shoplifting? Oooh...I haven't tried shoplifting ever. My friend had though...and I was with her when she did it. It was a bracelet, and we were in the mall. There was no price tag on the bracelet, so what she did was that she wore it and casually went out of the mall. haha...I don't really have the guts for that.

I think I also don't have a gut to do that! Bracelet is quite expensive..what I had stolen is just a chocolate bar and finger food. Well your friend is lucky it did not have a price tag. If it did, it will automatically ring the sirene when she's out from department store! LOL

Yeah, and I keep telling her that there might be security cams watching her..and yeah, she just ignored me. lol. It was actually just one of those cheap bracelets not silver or gold, its just something plan..so it must have cost the same thing as your chocolate bar! lol.

Correct! I bet if it's expensive, I imagine your friend must be brought to security guard or police to be questioned:) Thanks for the response donsky!

I did when I was in high school. I had a friend who did it all the time and she got away with big things like coats and two or three pairs of jeans from one store. And she talked me into trying it. I did it for about four years, little things, lip sticks, nail polishes, earrings, key rings (what does a 14 year old need with ten key rings anyway?). In all, over the four years, I probably stole $100-150 worth of utter crap. I got caught when I was 18 but I actually hadn't stolen anything that day. Instead, my friend had left a shopping bag with me while she looked around the store. Then she came back, got the bag and we left. Apparently that's one of the things they watch for because the manager was waiting for us outside the door with a security guard. The security guy held us both and we got banned from the store (not really sure how they planned to enforce that when they didn't take pictures of us or anything and there were only three employees there at the time who saw us but I didn't go back for a couple of years).

Interesting story. Yeah, those young days we are often doing foolish things, just for fun. Do you think your friend is a kleptomaniac, you know the habit of someone stealing for pleasure, not for its usage of the things? Have your ever been to that sore again? As the oldies said, elephant always remember, so maybe they really keep your face deep down in their mind, and it just popped if they see your face again Thanks for the response!

Everybody has stolen at least once in there life but like they say though you eventually get caught if you keep doing it though.

No, I have never shoplifted. It's just not something that I really want to do, or have ever been tempted to do. It's not something that I believe is right. It's really not the right or honest thing to do. I don't believe that I'll ever shoplift. I just don't see myself doing something like that.
