What cooking oil do you use?

Its simply taste which matters! I think the quality of the oil should also be good, heart friendly and low on bad cholestrol. We usually buy and consume sunflower oil which is very good for our heart, say saffola or fortune! What about you?

I use gingelly oil for dosa and chappatis and sunflower refined oil for deep frying .Sunflower refined oil is supposed to be good for the heart .But the best oil they say is olive though it is damn costly. How many can afford this? using less oil is very healthy.

we use vegtable oil. I sometimes stock minola, canola and olive oil but i use them for special recipes. For health purposes, we cook with less use of oil except for frying which we seldom do now a days. However, so far the cheapest among the cooking oils here is the vegtable oil.

We use only the regular cooking oil. The minola one. It is pure oil from coconut and I think it is also healthy compare to others. It would be nice if it is vegetable oil but it is so expensive here.

I use Italian olive oil, I think it is a type of healthy oil, I don't use a lot though when I cook, I just use a little bit to make sure food won't stick to the pan.

At home we use olive or sunflower oil. At work I like to use canola in the fryers as opposed to the solid-at-room-temperature fat the boss would prefer budget-wise. I think it cooks cleaner and tastes better.

in Italy we use a lot of olive oil (extravirgin). we use to flavor pasta, salade, soup and all not cook food. and it is very expensive. my mother bought some olive oils directly from the producer, in the countryside and price was less than buy it in the shops. we use also to cook (for example to cook tomato sausage) but sometimes i use sunflower or peanuts oil.

I use canola or olive oil because its good for our health. Olive oil are quite pricey compared to canola. sometimes I use butter to add more flavor and smells very good. Just to be safe sometimes I dont use any oil when im using non stick pan.

Sunflower oil is the one I use. It is less expensive than olive oil and has a smoother flavour. Of course the choice of oil depends on the kind of dish you want to use it on. I can use olive oil for the pasta or salad, and I can use the sunflower on my cooked patatoes (as an alternative to butter) or for frying.

I use Minola cooking oil or butter, when i am going to saute' the food or fry the food, to make the food much tastier, and it is the cheapest oil in our country.
