Who is A Shepherd

The Lord told Peter to feed his sheeps and he said this several times for the purpose emphase. God has called every leader in His vineyard to this single purpose of feeding His sheeps but I'm just not sure what to say about this extravagant lifestyle of today's church leader who instend of feeding the sheeps they are feeding themselves. This is what happens when too much power is given, and thus (it)corrupts. Where's the Spirit of servanthood in this? Generally, great (Christian) leaders have always known to be servants of the people they serve and lead. (The Shepherd lays down his life for his sheep)Normally they put the need of people first before seeing themselves. Perhaps, I'm not in the position to evaluate the character of those in high powered places or positions in the church.

I guess it would depend on which church would respond..lol I am sorry it is truth though, there to me are not many shephards in the churchs of today, regardless of denomination, seems the priest, paster, father, or what have you comes first and foremost. Yet, Jesus had no building, he had no home during his time of preaching. He begged for no food either, it was provided .. why... because of one simple principle, FAITH In my opinion though there are many shephards not clouded by a building or church, they are the true shephards which give what they can to those in need. See my belief is there is a church within each heart with its soul as its guide. To me a building does not represent God to me, it is what is within that shows the truth and reveals it without.. God Bless you for you

The bible tell us not to judge Favorconcept but then again God would not have us to be fools either. If you happen to see something that's going on it's good to speak out about it, who knows you may just help to change someone that's heading in the wrong direction. Have a nice day and happy mylot!
