define success.. can you consider yourself successful now?

Many of us would define success or measure it by the number of valuable things that they possess.. wether new cars or a new hous and lot maybe.. but how we really do define success? Well for me success is when you feel you are contented with what you have in your life.. it doesnt necessary mean that you need to have these luxuries and prestige to say that you are successful.. As long as you are contented with who you are, what you have and whom you are with, and if you let GOD be the center of your life, then you can consider yourself successful.. Let us always remember, we can always be successful on our own ways..

I still have a number of things that i want to accomplish, but on the overall, yes, i think i have been quite sucessful. I have had a rough road, and still have some hills to climb, but i am not giving up by a long shot. Some things, i wish that i could do more in.

Success is when you prove yourself better than your previous self. Its when you make a decision and be proud of it come what may. Its when you realize to overcome all your shortcomings and learn to accept few things in life that can’t be changed.
Success is doing what you are created to do and what you are passionate about doing, learning what these things are by making mistakes, and not continuing to make the same mistakes. Then, being able to look back after your accomplishment,take a deep breath, know that you did your best, and be proud.
All goals must presuppose values. And the measures of success should be very specific.
I love these:

* To seek elegance rather than luxury;

* To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly;

* To find the best in others;
* To give of oneself without the slightest thought of return;
* To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a rescued soul, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;
* To play with enthusiasm and sing with exaltation;
* To laugh often and much;
* To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
o This is to have succeeded…
+ to have filled my niche and accomplished all my tasks;
+ leaving this world better than I found it.

I don't consider myself successful yet.I have little savings account.I don't have properties.I don't have my dream job yet.I am working my way going there.if I feel successful already if I am stable in my life.

as of now,I don't consider myself really successful.I still have a lot to achieve.I have several personal victories,but the major dreams of mine,I haven't achieved them yet.I have a long,long way to go.I'm not in a hurry,though.I'm taking my time.
