Not at all, giving children everything they ask for is not going to teach them anything and results in spoiled children.

I was the babysitter.. but they were so spoiled and do whatever that they want.. .. the parents so retarded giving ices to the baby who had pneumonia... A resounding "NO" to that one. Even Bill Gates felt his children should learn how to earn their own money. A child who is given everything they want may end up thinking that is how the whole world works. Or they may not be motivated to do anything positive with their own lives once grown. Karen

NO WAY!! I would invest money for them in shares and property, giving them advice on how to manage their portfolios. I would make sure they owned a nice house that would be suitable for their children as well, and insist they have a holiday home overseas. They would have enough ready cash to survive comfortably, but, still be required to earn a living to further support themselves or their families. This would give them an opportunity to retire earlier than most people, but with the knowledge that nothing comes easy.
