Interesting Facts Found In A Not-So-Interesting Place....

I went to the toilet and learned the following facts:
*Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump.
*Animals that lay eggs do not have belly buttons.
*Slugs have four noses.
*Flamingos are pink because they eat shrimp.
*Camel's milk does not curdle.
*There are one million ants to every human in the world.
*Frogs cannot swallow with their eyes open.
*Teeth are the only parts of the human body that cannot repair themselves.
*A quarter of the bones in your body are in your feet.
*The tongue is the fastest healing part of the body.
*Strawberries contain more vitamin C than oranges.
Yes, I have learned these while I was in the toilet. There is this sanitary pad brand 'Libra' where the back tape contains trivia. I just needed to change pad and those are the interesting facts I have learned today.

Wow. I want some Libras!! What better way to encourage you to change your pad often? I hope to remember some of the facts you have given us today to wow my colleagues with in work this morning :-) If not, I shall have to bookmark this discussion to read another time.
Flamingos are pink because they eat shrimp? I am not convinced with this one but what the hey, they others have got me excited!!

Hi georgina. I'm not also sure about the flamingos because shrimps are not pink, are they? I like the one about the frogs that they cannot swallow with their eyes open...interesting.

Thanks for sharing that with us! Those are interesting and I like that this company put this trivia on that tape. At least it keeps you from being bored when you are in the bathroom.

Ha! Ha! I never imagined someone would actually talk about this thing in a forum. Well, the interesting facts are sure fun and informative. I've heard about the Flamingoes getting their lovely color from what they eat and also a little bit about oranges and vitamin C content. I'm sure if I did find those information I'd love to share them here. But to say exactly what I had been up to in the toilet is something I would rather keep to myself.
Anyway, kudos to your courage and boldness. I'm sure it's not really something we need to be ashamed of. Everybody knows women have to do it so why we should consider it taboo to talk about? Cheers!

You learned a lot in one session and all of us too It is pretty amazing that you can get all the interesting facts at the not interesting at all'' place! I don't think that we have that brand here. I bet if there is a sanitary pad brand which contains trivia like this, I will spend more time in that place, reading!

I find these facts very interesting and informative.These facts are printed on the cover of sanitary pad,is not very interesting.
The tounge is the fastest healing part of the body is very true.The saliva present in the mouth act as an ointment.

Wow...we can learn something everyday means this.sanitary pad with interesting things ...i really like that.i usually read lot of books.my kid got recently hurt his tongue.the first thing i remembered is "it heals quickly".so i was not worried.so i know that fact.others are new to me.thanks for sharing.
