what does a man require to be a successful person in life?

we are told to work hard and smart to be successful in life. some people say that we should focus high to become successful. try, try, try until we succeed is a proverb. i was reading a book today. it says a lot of things on how to be happy in life. one chapter says, we all try so hard and we want to come first in our life, we work harder and smarter everyday but we do not succeed. the reason for that is we are just focusing on working harder and harder, but we do not to have the passion in the work we do. as we grow older, we lose the strength to work hard and we give up. so what do you all say about it? he also says do not try to run for success. success will come to you if you do it with passion. i just wanted to share this thought. if you disagree with this, you can tell me other ways for success. thank you!

first thing a man needs to do to be successful in this life.....is to be an honorable and honest man.
then if he can find what he is passionate about doing and find a career that fits that passion .. i think he will be successful . .for anything that you do and are passionate about . is a sure formula for success . .I have heard that if you find what your heart desires the money will come easy!

hi saw, you are absolutely right, first honesty is very important. dishonesty can never bring success. i like what you said, one has to find what he is passionate about and choose a career, to become successful. thanks for your response
