I want to start over, start fresh, get a new start.

With all the bad luck I've been faced with, I just want to get out and go somewhere else. If I could win the lottery, I've been doing some research and I'd like to move to Panama. Of course I'd have to learn Spanish, I only know a few words, not enough to get me by in life. But to get to Panama is easier than trying to move to the USA, there are far more restrictions to become a citizen there. So Panama is my choice to spend the rest of my life living. And it would only cost me about $80,000 to become a full citizen in 2 years. I am just tired of living in this country, it doesn't matter that health care is free, it's no good if you can't get the government to send you your health card so you can go get medical care that you really need. I want to start my own business, and in Panama, it would be easier to do as it's nice weather all year round, and I'd be busy all the time. Not like here, when winter rolls around, there's not much work to be done until the snow falls. I hate cold weather as well, and moving to Panama would mean nothing but warm weather all the time, and I'd be very happy.

So why dont you make it happen? You dont have to win the lottery. Look into costs about getting there and sell things or get a second job to make it happen. Waiting to win the lottery wont make your dreams come true! I hope that you are able to find something soon that really picks up your spirits.

I have nothing to sell, so that's not an option. Absolute bare minimum cost is $40,000 donation to the re-forestation program in Panama, and you have to wait 5 years to become a citizen. To move what few belongings down there that I have would still cost a lot of money, even if my husband were to give up his entire video collection. His video collection is worth probably around $5k, but he refuses to give it up.

Honestly, I find it hard to believe that you have nothing to sell if you have to keep things in storage. Do you have to be a citizen to live there? Do you have to donate the $40,000 just to move there? I would think they would be more than willing to have to you live there and then you would just have to work up to becoming a citizen.
