health benefits of apple !!!!!!!

I know about some of the medicinal effect of the apple. Recently research tell that it can reduce the effects of the colon cancer and disease. Do you know anything about the apple. Then share with me. Happy mylotting......

Apples are a good source of fiber which are beneficial in lowering the risks of colon cancer. Apples, being rich in flavonoids, help in reducing the mortality rate for coronary and cardiovascular diseases. There have also been studies that show that eating apples can improve lung health. A number of components in apples, most notably fiber and phytonutrients have been found in studies to lower blood cholesterol by 8 to 11% and improve bowel function, and may be associated with a reduced risk of prostate cancer, type II diabetes and asthma. All these health benefits from eating an apple, lends support to the old adage "An apple a day helps keep the doctor away".

There are many health benefit of an apple. Few are that they are good source of soluble as well as insoluble fiber, They are good source of Vitamin A, B, Potassium, Phosphorus.
