You can write to helium.com which is a good site too and which pays writers when they write to the articles provided, you get money everytime your articles are viewed and once you have attain your first payment which is $25 then you can also get awards and recognisation for new members to see.

Bukisa pays rubbish, Helium is better. You can post your Helium articles on Bukisa as well, to earn more, but it's poor. I don't really know of any well paying article site. All you can do is write your best stuff and hope somebody likes your work and offers you other projects.

Not a big user of squidoo but would say that the earnings for general writing seem to be minimal, although I beleive that a few people do make decent money, this though is mostly through making use of affiliate programs. I would guess that Bukisa is a better option, and beleive it is more like Associated Content and Helium, although as I am happpy with Helium I haven't given it a go as yet.
