ashamed of your race? why

I know that you should not be ashamed of one's own race but I must admit that there are things I am ashamed of it. One thing that I detest is what we call crab mentality. If there is anyone we see whose life is improving, we always tend to do something that will pull the person down. Why can't we be happy that they ar doing well. Instead, we should emulate that person and try to make it as an inspiration to improve ourselves.

Ofcourse not, I am from the Philippines and proud to be pinoy. FIlipinos are really helpful, hospitable, friendly and loving country. I dont ashamed being a filipino. FIlipinos also were talented and we are even known for our talent in other countries. For my whole life living here in the Philippines i dont have a doubt or say anything wrong to my country, again i am proud to be pinoy and if i will given a chance to change my race i will stick to my race.

Sometimes, I am ashamed of my race because of the things that they have done or the things that they do, but then I have to realize that their are stupid people in every race.

I love being African American. I'm one very proud black women, but sometimes black people's actions annoy me. Take Michael Vick or OJ, an animal cruelty person and a murder whatever the jury said. On the day that the did their foolish things and were caught I was kinda of embarrassed to be black, just because they were and were such idiots.

i am never ashamed of my race...i am a Filipino...i am proud of my race and will always be proud to be! i am ashamed of those people who do shameful things to my country! and they also should be ashamed of themselves!

No I am not ashamed of who I am because I feel " Me " and there is nothing to be ashamed of feeling so about oneself. I do not bother too much about race, religion, and status but as far as I feel myself then it is okay for me.
