I know a few things about shortcuts of keyboard and it can be made by our own. I can work without mouse, but kindly it makes me so slow to setting my fonts. I will shutdown my computer, and save the documents also fix the mouse or keyboard or change with new one.

Yes, it happened to me...i hated it. My mouse broke once and i had no choice but to use the touch pad of my laptop which i really didn't like. My daughter is used to using the touch pad but not me...i like my mouse. It's kind of like my pet. lol With desktop it's a different story cause there's no touch pad so it's more pain in the butt to learn about the key functions and all that. Good post, thanks.

I have had this happen and I did not find it that difficult. I was already knowlegeable of the key functions on my key board and find a lot of times even though my mouse is right there that I do use my key functions anyways because my hands are already on my keyboard.

I use a laptop so most of the time for Internet surfing I'm using my track pad. When I'm using Photoshop I switch over to a wacomm pen tablet, and when I'm using 3d software like Maya I use a regular mouse. My favorite of all three is the pen tablet!

That was good question. We can still work without a mouse if we know keyboard shortcut but that is hard and slow work because there are things you really need a mouse before you can do anything. If you have different user in a computer and it doesn't highlighted any user you can not start to open your computer in the user you desire. We have computer which do not have mouse and it can not be use because it has 5 users and before you can use it you have to choose user but the bad thing is no user was highlighted so you can not choose the user you want.

HeyHey! The few times my mouse became broken and needed to replaced I tried to go online and do what I do , but it was near impossible It can be done , but think it is something you have to get used to. And yes it is very annoying , and just like when I use my laptop! That can be a pain with no mouse , and you have to learn how to use your finger, but in due time it comes to you ;) Happy LOtting

He radhanair1001, if my mouse goes down for some time, it will not make me crazy or lead me to tear my hairs. I can work with my keyboard but it will make me work slower than normal. However, think of a situation where your mouse works but not the keyboard. Can you continue working? Have you ever experienced this? Happy mylotting

i don't use mouse......i only use keyboard.....it makes me different....i nearly know all the keyboard shortcuts.....and i also have this cool software called launchy....you just have to press alt+space and a small tab comes up....you type anything....program's name or folder's name and then it opens.....you should try it....if a person doesn't knows about it ...it feels like magic.....they go like..."whoooaaa how did you open that programme"....and i am like this is my computer it senses what i want......so breaking down of mouse doesn't bothers me that much....

Yes. I use keyboard shortcut keys more than mouse. It is very easy. But reqd little practice. Actually, u can use virtual mouse on keyboard too. Just look numpad. On key there is arrow. These r used as mouse. U will reqd settings n these settings r in control pannel-mouse setting. check different option. I use numpad led off option. Thats all.

Oh working on computer without a mouse is really a painful experience to have. I would say that many of us, including me, we are so get used to use a mouse when working or doing things using computer. It will be quite troublesome if there is no mouse there to use. Mouse indeed has ease our work very much. For me, i only knowa few of the keyboard shortcuts, and i think it will not be enough for me to continue working smoothly with only the few shortcut keys that i know. Without mouse, i would probably can't continue working. Unless it was a laptop. On laptops, there is another touchpad which have the same function as mouse. So, for laptops without a mouse, i can still work, but not on a desktop computer, haha. Have a nice day!

I don't like to use my computer without my mouse, but if I have to do it I know how to use my keyboard on windows, so it's not really painful, but I like to it with my mouse. The only thing that let me out of my mind is when I have to use the touch pad, it's really annoying.
