How do u feel when some 1 write something bad about your nation here in mylot?

Hey friends,
Whats yr first reaction when you see some discussion where something bad is written about your nation? Do u get angry or do u try to understand the point they are tyring to make, or u keep mum and go to the next discussion?
As far as iam concerned I get very irritated and angry when i c someone bad mouthing my nation. I dont know but its something which i cant tolerate. A lot of people may think its an attitude problem but i really dont care a damn about it.
I know there are a lot of Indians, US and Philipino mylotters here and iam sure they must have seen such discusions here. I want to know how do u react to those discussions?

Hey there,
Well u got to be concerned about your nation, atleast i feel that way. I dont know its some thing may be u can call my weakness. I get angry when i c that happening otherwise iam cool.

Well I know what u r talking about. But u know its none of their business to critize your country if they arent involved. I know US gets invloved in other country's politics and thus gets in all type of problems.
Anyway treat your nation as your own family. And no one should have the guts to say anything about your family.

I'll feel a little angry, but calm down after a while. If they're making reasonable points, I can forgive them. However if they're just yelling their heads off, I won't tolerate that.

Hey red,
I also feel the same way. But its understandable if its coming from some one of my country. I dont really understand Y people from other nation has to say bad things abt us. I cannot tolerate that at all.

Well to be honest I have not come across people who have actually spoken ill about my country or any country for that matter......and the best thing is I did not find even one case of racism here......people here treat each other with so much of love and respect and would put their point forward in a way where you don't get hurt.....I have seen people who don't write good English but not a single one raised concern about it, they tried and understood and supported everyone here as one family.......but yes if I come across such a person, I would be upfront and if need may be, I would report his discussion depending upon the gravity of what is written.......

Hey,
Its good to hear that u never came across such a discussion before. But to be honest iam surprised becoz i c them so regularly here. And iam not talking about only my country but a lot of other nations as well.
Regarding a lot of people who dont write english well I would say mylot is a good paltform where they can improve their english. And that includes myself.
I look at this site as not only where i get to learn so many things, meet interesting people but also a place where I read some very well written posts.
Some users here have admirable english and i always try to pick some new words, way fo writing etc from them.
