Is Swine Flu a problem where you are?

Swine flu has become a real problem here in the UK. I went to the doctor today to ask for something to help my asthma as I have not been well and I could not believe they made me wear a mask. It has now been officially called a pandemic. Do you feel that your area has been affected. Birmingham, England UK has and it is near to where I live and the school has even sent a letter home with my daughter, I cannot send her back to school until I have the results from swab tests taken today. Do you think it has all gone too far or do you think the precautions are just. They have been taking precautions yet the amount of people with swine flu is still rising, would love to hear your opinions.

I hope it stays that way too, I remember when the bird flu was causing panic, once most of the poppulation have had it and have built up an immunity I think that the panic will die down.

Yea, I am in the UK too. Things are going really bad here. Swine flu cases keep rising and it is not slowing down anytime soon. Now I am worried of going to public places like the mall in places where the cases were detected. The only thing that we could do is pray that the doctors and scientist could come up with some sort of vaccines as soon as possible, and the cases would slowly decrease with time. Hopefully it will not turn out like the Spanish Flu outbreak. God bless.
