Are you a one stop shopper?

Growing up my mom always shopped at the same Safeway grocery store. Once a week she would go and get supplies. My aunt on the other hand would follow the sales. If one store had a sale on something she would go buy it there then go to another store to get a deal on something else. I do both. Sometimes I don't have the time to shop around so I just get everything at one store. On Saturdays however I will drive from place to place to get the good deals and the fresh produce. It costs more in fuel but I get a small satisfaction each time I get a good deal on something. How about you a one store shopper or a multi store shopper?

im the one that would follow where the sale is. for seafoods and vegetables, i'll always buy them at the wet market, its cheaper there. for groceries i buy it at waltermart, its the closest one here, i only need to take a walk, bring my son with me in his stroller, then when we come home, ride tricycle. they sometimes have sale that are on packs. for other things, like clothes, etc. it must be on sale. and there are 2 malls here that have a 3 day sale all the time.

I buy my fruits and veggies from the market too as they are a lot fresher than the ones at the grocery store.

Hey whywiki! First of all, I am a "sale" shopper! But, I don't have a car so I shop in only one grocery store! I watch the sales from week to week and try to plan my major grocery shopping for the week with the best sales. I usually will walk to the store which is a nice long walk! I will then do the major shopping and take a taxicab back! It is kind of a waste of money because it is such a very short ride, but I can't carry the bags so I have no choice! And then if there is other things on sale during the next weeks my boyfriend will pick things up on his way home from work! That is the best way we have been able to manage since without a car it is very difficult.

It is hard without a car. I remember when I was carless and I would hike up to the store and buy heavy things then almost die trying to carrie them back home.

When I follow my mom to grocery shopping, she is a one stop shopper. She buys everything and stuff it inside the fridge. No wonder we don't have space to put other things. I think I will be when I have my own home. I'll see what's on sale and maybe I will turn out like my mom. Have everything in storage, leaves no hassle. On occasions, if I do need something by the clock, I'll go out and buy it.

It sure is handy when you have everything you need in storage and don't have to keep going out.

I will do the same if I have more time to shop. Doing that will give me more satisfaction and find the best deals around. Unfortunately, I don't have time to do that. So normally I'll head to Tesco or any hypermarket. At least there's more than one shop in the building. I can navigate and compare a bit before buying anything.

Time is important. If I have the time I am more likely to hunt out the good deals.

I often go to market for by clothes and all. But i dont like to go from one shop to other for searching and selecting the product i wanna buy. I just go to a single shop select and buy. So you can say that i m a single stop shopper.

My hubby is like that he knows what he wants and goes and gets it and it is over, I will shop around waste time and usually end up back where I started anyways.

I am a one-stop shopper, because I don't have the transportation to run all over town. I don't have a car, or a driver's licence, and I can't see that well, and have some mobility issues, so running all over town is out of the question for me.

we get most of our groceries at one place just because it is a discount grocery store, but sometimes we will go to walmart for another reason and i will get a few things that are on sale there, it just depends on what is on sale.

Our wholesale club store is across the street from a wal-mart so I like to check the flyers and hit both stores. I am getting it down to a science!

I don't like to run around, but I do have to go to several stores, Sams for litter and Walmart for most of the rest of the stuff and if I need spices/herbs I go to Whole Foods.

It depends on how good the sales are. I generally try to get all of my stuff from one store. However, if I know that something is really cheaper at another store, I will go and get it if it is not too far out of the way.

I don't think i am a one stop shopper. I will go for the sales too. But most importantly, i want to try new things and compare them. I love to do that. Hehe... But when i am not in a good mood, i will just go to the nearest shop to get what i need.

My mood also dictates how many shops I can handle in a day but I do like to find new and different things.

Usually I am a one or two shop shopper.. First of all I can not drive so I do not want to take up too much of my ride's time.. Second of all going to a lot of stores requires a lot of walking and that really takes a toll on my back... Once and a great while I like to go to a lot of different stores, just to see what is around.. but that all depends on the driver..

It is nice that you have friends that will drive you. Most people don't even think of how hard it is for a carless person to get groceries.

I follow sales as well. I don't really like to go out much cause bringing my children can sometimes be a handful. So mostly I enjoy the life of online shopping; unless its for groceries then I have no choice but to hit up the stores. Anyways have a wonderful day. ; )

I love to shop on-line too. You can get some great bargains and it makes checking the mail fun too.
