Finally! WE have finally moved into our house! I am so excited! We have been here for about a week and a half,. and I have finally got my computer unpacked. It seems to be taking forever to get everything unpacked and straight though.. I have three kids under 5, so it is taking a while! How long did it take you to say you were officially all moved in when you moved?

Stacy- Congrats on the move! I know you must be so thankful it's all over and you can begin to settle in. Well, when I moved, and we've moved four times in this apartment complex, it seemed like ages to unpack! I could never decide where to put what, and things always ended up missing one part, etc. And it always seemed the more we moved the more stuff we accumulated. I simply aimed to unpack 1-2 boxes per day and if I got more great and if I didn't that was ok too. I'd definately start by unpacking the essentials, which I'm sure you've already done. And I moved all the boxes to the right rooms so I didn't have to lug things around. I would say give it a month to get completely settled in. Namaste-Anora

moving is difficult and takes a lot of energy and patience. i remember when i moved last packing/unpacking a box a day was my goal, plus i had little kids too! best of luck in your new home!

Three days LOL That's as long as I could stand to see boxes stacked around. I worked like a dog for 3 days so that everything could be put away. My Mom is still trying to unpack and it's been almost 20 years. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

hello stacyv81, Wow, congratulations for you finally moved to your own house. As form me when we moved to our own house too, I felt so relieved, fulfilled and so happy the moment we're there for finally I can say and proud to everybody that it's our own at last. It doesn't matter though if we're not done unpacking our things yet and fixing everything. What matters for me is that it's ours. Fixing everything in place will be done in no time for we have each other to do it. But waiting for that moment to transfer in our own house took us a lot of time to wait. So, thankful that even we have a small and simple house I can say that it's our own. Simply the best.

We have moved many times in our life and I never get used to it. I hope I can build a house where we could stay permanently. Cheers!!

wow, i am happy for you. i had also the same feeling when we moved in into our new house. it took us a week for packing things and another week to arrange things in the house were we moved it. now you have all the freedom to do what you wanted in your own house. congratulations!
