Why Not Commenting Back?

I notice it from some of members, they start a discussion have responses and never commenting back, even once. That's the basic cause of my question, is it because they're too busy to commenting back? Or they just want to know how much people attracted to their discussion? For me, I think commenting back is important, because even it doesn't increase our posting number but it still gain us some money, and the most important thing is, just with commenting back it could warm up the atmosphere and make myLot grow better.

For me I read first on my discussions if there is a comment to response. I want to make sure that I response on the comments so that they are not disappointed when you have new post discussions again. That will be the basics for us to have more comments. Because on first days here on my lot, that is one of my experience. Until I cope up that mistake that I have made...How about you my friend? Did you commenting back when someone comments on the discussion you started?

Of course, I'm commenting all responses I had. Sometimes it could ended up on long conversation, if that's the case I'm really glad because it means I've succeed to create a lively conversation, not just a discussion but a conversation. I give my comment they reply my comment, going over and over almost until 5 rounds or more. It's good for our earning but one thing better, it will make us more friendly to others. I think the best part is if we could earn good friends here, not just for money right? You're right about those balance, it's just exactly like what I'm thinking of. If some people knowing us as a friendly member, they will following our discussion or at least attracted when they find our newer discussion.

You right my friend. If all of our add friends here, know the value of friendship. I think our earnings here is not a problem. I think we can earn much better that we can do today. But the problem is only we can add, friends and not response on our posted discussion here. Did you agree that if all our friends, react on our posted discussions will earn better amount than regular?

Even though is that they have lack of awareness about the discussion. They should do it for the sake of friendship. Even I have no interest on topics, I will reply to show how much I value friendship...This is a helpful instrument to help our friends earn here, right?

There's several reason why people don't give a reply back, maybe they are too busy with other things, maybe they didn't want to reply back, maybe they didn't get the right answer for them, or maybe they're just catching on posting 
Just be patience, i'm sure some of mylotters will response to your discussion even when they are in hurry

You right in your opinion my friend. But if you are friends to them you need to do that for the sake of friendship. to help them grow their earnings here. Isn't that good enough if we help each other to make extra income here, because were friend? We don't blame them if they don't want to response in our discussion but this is better if our friends here response to help one another, right?

I know some of us don't have much time walking around here, as for me also sometime get too busy. But for me, the first thing I do after I enter my office is turning on the pc and check my email, so I could monitor is there a new response I had. If there are new responses of course I will commenting back to them, it's like my responsibility to answer every responses, because I'm the discussion starter. I think you right, may be I must be more patience waiting the comment, but when I look the discussion after 2 weeks and there's still no comment, even the discussions got so many responses, I think the discussion starter just not appreciating those who gave responses.

Commenting doesn't make nearly as much as posting responses, if anything. it's time consuming, and often the replies in a discussion don't contain anything worth commenting on. I try to comment on my discussions, but I don't go out of my way.

Yeah, basically it's a simple business strategy but I think not all members here know or don't want to bother knowing about it. I saw some senior member which have thousand of posting also still doesn't get what's all about, so they just starting a discussion and manage to obtain a lot responses, but unfortunately the responses not being commented even once, I think it's just wasting of time.

Hi, flaredust. I totally agree with you. I've noticed this several times. Some mylotters started discussions and then paid no attention to them anymore. Even if there were 100 responses, there was no comment. I don't understand why they behave like that.
As you said, perhaps they just want to know how many people are attracted to their discussions. That's stupid and ridiculous. I don't believe they are too busy to make any comment since they still manage to find time starting discussions.
I always think commenting back is very important for three reasons. First, the reason of my starting a discussion is to know what other people think about on this topic. I want them to share their views with me. Second, commenting back is a way of showing respect to others. As long as they took time to respond to my discussion, they must have some thoughts wanting me to share. I appreciate that and think I should leave a comment in return. Third, I'm paid by mylot for my own activity, not for others' responses. Even if a discussion I started received over 100 responses, if I don't bother to comment on each of them, I won't be paid a penny.
Now, I seldom respond to a discussion if I find that the discussion has received several responses on which none of them is commented, I won't waste my time to respond to it.
