For me, life without music is kinda sad. But how do you choose the music/songs you want/love to listen? Me, actually any type of music is okay to me, as long as the volume is not too loud for the heavy metal or rock songs but, I prefer more the dance and love songs. Dance songs because i loved to dance and love songs because its pleasing to the ears and it feels good to listen to it when im about to sleep.:) in addition, i can relate to some love songs that's why its always on my list. How about you? :)

I think I'd choose to answer the question in a different way. I'm a person who loves variety and I appreciate almost all kinds of music (maybe except techno) as long as it has good acoustics and good lyrics. Both factors should be balanced for me to say that it's a good song. =D However, my likes for songs are seasonal like sometimes, I'd like to listen to country songs then the other day I'd love to listen to heavy metal songs or love songs.. Currently I'm more into the lyrics but still I consider the acoustics, and these past few months I'm starting to appreciate songs that talks about social issues, world peace, anti-war, african struggles and everything sensible. Those kind of songs inspire me and truly music is a great medium to spread awareness to people. So kudos to those who compose songs to make a difference. =D

Me, I like all kinds of music. As long as it's got a good beat to groove to I don't mind it. Guess it may have to have a little pop jingle to it. I like country, metal, punk, emo, r&b, rap, Techno, and new age. I like to listen to music a lot, I'm listening to some right now, Cradle of Filth-No Remorse. Maybe I'll listen to some Phil Collins later. :)

Yeah, I do like to dance. I got friends that think dancing is dumb, I believe that it's a good form of expression, good way to work off some negative frustrations, and just plain fun.

I love destroying my ear drums with heavy metal racket. However, I need heavy metal with some groove and melody. I'm also a big fan of classical music and need that up full blast as well.

Really?.. I think it's okay to listen to heavy metal, but not too loud i think, because it may destroy your ear drum leading into deafness.. Just concern..:) happy mylotting

I am into the more dance and love songs as well... it all depends on my mood and who I am with for the music choice. If I am with those who love country music and we are having fun... then country music it is... I also love reggae and hip hop and if I am in the car and the music is right, then I will listen to that.. as for when I am home I will go to the country music stations first.... LOL Happy mylotting!!

Hello.. Thanks for your response..:) it's better to be flexible in listening to music because if you only listen to one genre, then that will become boring eventually,i think.hehehe.. Happy mylotting too..:)

I agree that life without music is kinda of sad. The music and/or songs that I love to listen to is anything. But mostly the music I listen too is whatever my mood is, be it hip hop, dance, pop, country, love songs, new age, etc. Music is music and my mood is what depends what I listen too.

It's whatever you decide to listen to, you decide what music makes you happen, what moves you, what makes you dance, what makes you tap your foot. Nobody else, except you can make this choice. I like to play music and when I hear a song, a song I like, it's got to be a song that makes me want to move. One that's got a catchey beat. I also like songs where all the musicians are not playing the same notes, but got a melody going, making the song more bigger then what it is, making it more fuller. Each band member got a different melody going. I like songs that are catchey and different.
