Update on Guess Closing Price

A while ago I posted about a small stock market game site, Guess Closing Price, that rewarded users for playing with Wal-Mart gift cards. There was some skepticism about whether the site was legit voiced in that discussion, but now I can vouch that the site is indeed for real. I've now received two $25 gift cards in the mail that I've won in random drawings, and I'm due to receive another soon. All you do on the site is predict what you think the closing price (price at the end of the trading day) of various stocks will be. The top three players at the end of the month get higher value gift cards, and there are five random winners of $25 cards each month as well. Since there aren't too many active players at the moment, I've been able to win three random drawings! As the site grows, I'm sure it will become a lot tougher to win. I think the site is only of interest to Americans because it only pays through Wal-Mart gift cards. I'm not sure even if the gift cards would be shipped internationally. Another downside to this site is you can only win by being one of the three best players or getting lucky in a random draw -- there's no referral program. However, I've always viewed it as an educational site that will help me hone my stock predicting abilities. It's just a great bonus that it's helping me shop as well! The site is http://www.guessclosingprice.com if anyone is interested in checking it out. I might be hurting my chances to win by sharing the site with everyone, but I think it deserves some more recognition.
