I love the smell of rain!

I love rain , period. It does have a great smell.I love the smell of cinnamon rols and my local Macy's has a air freshener that is yummy. And my favorite store at my mall , Riehl, has a great smell.

Yes, I use to love the smell of rain. So refreshing. Had an accident about 7 years ago and can't smell at all. Nothing, nada. I do miss it so much but had to get use to the change and know it would never return.

I thought u would be camping . guess the rain kept u home. I do like to smell rain & sure would like to smell some right now. It is hot in TENNESSEE, THERE ARE ALOT OF THINGS I LIKE TO SMELL. FIRST THING THAT CAME TO MIND WAS HONEYSUCKLE. ARE U FAMALIAR W/IT. I see very little of it anymore but am not out that much i guess where it grows. Use to before a/c in cars it use to smell soo good when u were riding around w/the windows down.

Hey jill! Me too! I love that smell of the air after it rains! I have the window all open and I can smell the rain on the wet grass! That is one of my very favorite smells! It has that incredible fresh smell! It was just raining here too! No surprise there! That's all it's been doing here! But, at least now the sun comes out for a little while and the it rains and the sun comes out again and back and forth! We still don't seem to be able to just have a sunny day without the rain!

Yea, i love to smell the rain too when it's fall out side my window. And i don't know why that moment are always makes me feel calm or peace inside me. And also especially when i saw the rain drop off the ground rapidly... It makes me be lost in thought for while in peace too...

Yeah, i love rain and rainy season is my favourite. I love clouds,cold and wet wind, greenery in the rainy season. Well, the smell is actualy not the smell of rain, its the smell of soil when water falls on it and make it wet. And same as you i aslo like its smell.

Oh yes I love the smell to specially when it has been hot it is so fresh and cool when it comes down I sometimes stand out in the rain, if the Day has been hot and then the cool Rain comes down, but I do that when it is dark lol or People will think I am strange lol

Oh I have to agree with you on this one jillhill. I absolutely love the smell of rain in the summertime. It even brings back old memories from when I was a child because I loved it then too. Loved playing out in it (I don't think the kids today do this), running around playing games, jumping in puddles, splashing other people. It was so much fun. I also love the smell of grass right after it's been cut. Out towards the country more you can smell SWEET grass, which the Native Americans used. That's a wonderful aroma and actually can be used as aromatherapy for me because it makes me feel so good.

hi, me too. It's raining right now which makes the air cooler and I'm opening the window and the cool air comes in directly at my forehead LOL and I'm thanking that it's raining because it's very hot and humid the whole week except for a day when it was drizzling because of a storm somewhere. I also love the smell of freshly cut grass and the much more when it rains after the cutting of the grass.

I also love the smell of rain but in our part of England we are having a heatwave at the moment it is raining in other places but not in our little valley ,we get the thunder and lightening from surrounding storms and maybe a splatter but it has not rained properly in our area for about two weeks with temps in the high twenties nearly thirty today and they say it is going to get hotter,I spoke to three spanish girls today at the bus stop today and they said it was to hot.As it normally rains quite often in England.I cannot wait for the smell of rain,on the hot earth as it steams.Cut grass is another smell I love,fish and chips also the smell of a baby that is my favourite,all powered and fresh.I used to love to cuddle my babies and grandchildren and that lovely aroma they give out.
