Everybody knows cosmetic is such an amazing invention; more than hundreds cosmetic products are out there. Do you think it is worth to get the cosmetic product?

I think that if it is effective and as long as it works best for your skin and you can see for yourself the result of that certain product , why not. I don't mind to buy a product if its worth it. But mostly, I do discipline myself to not buy much because I need to save some money and I have to be not so dependent on these products. As much as possible I would still rely on herbal and natural means. Which means I can easily get at the convenience of my own home and I can prepare them myself as a facial mask which is good or equivalent to the products I buy outside.

I do believe that it's a sort of social obligation for women to wear makeup in certain important occasions - like formal gatherings such as weddings, corporate events, etc. That is why I do believe that women should have their own cosmetics even though they don't use it everyday - they're bound to use it sometime! Thanks for the response on my discussion :)

I think it is worth it buying makeup. I like makeup. I like some more then others. I like mineral makeup witch is light on the face compared to a lot of makeups I have used. I have a gym bag half full of makeup and perfumes. But my mineral makeup last me a long time.

I have never worn a lot of cosmetic products..it is just something that i never did. my mom never used them either. I think that it is just a personal preference as to which cosmetics that each person uses.

hi mermaidivy, cosmetics are a very personal item . . .and we all seem to find our favorites among the many hundreds .. but it usually is the packaging of products that is where most of the cost of the product is! You can find the same formula of a mascara packaged numerous different ways and that is usually what makes a product more expensive . .Last week I found this new great line of make up at the Rite-Aid chain . .label is Jesses girl. . and it is a fun and very good price line . .I got the most delicious pink lemolade lip gloss. . .for &1.99 . . and it is so good! Anway shopping for make up is always fun ,,even if idotnwear much of it! Lotting to you

I think too that cosmetics are wonderful... but I do draw the line when it comes to price and quality. There are a lot of affordable products that work just as well as other high-end products and I really don't like spending money on the really expensive ones just because. Being beautiful doesn't have to mean going broke.

You are right, actually lots of cosmetics producst have fair price and their quality is guarranteed(I mean lots of people used them and give out good comments), so if it is affordable, I think it is ok.

I dont buy a lot of cosmetic products and I dont spend a great deal on those I do buy. I probably buy better quality moisturisers/hand creams now that I'm older & I take better care of my feet now that I'm in a job where I rarely get to sit down. I do have a bit of a weakness for perfume but, I dont buy the expensive stuff! I suppose its like anything else... its worth what you're prepared to pay for it. If it makes someone feel better about themselves and gives them confidence and enthusiasm to live their life then its probably money well spent.
