Before, I only have a Smart simcard. But when I transferred here in Manila, I bought a globe simcard. Because they say that many people here are usinng Globe simcards. Is it true? Now, I am using both smart and globe simcard. The smart sim is for me to still communicate to the friends that I left in Oriental Mindoro and he globe simcard is for my new friends here in Manila. Happy posting

I'm smart subscriber and globe subscriber. For me the signal of smart is much better here than globe. I still want to use smart because of some features than any other network. Globe offers free internet connection in cellphones which is good. I think it depends on what area are you or it has a good signal to your place.

I have three sim card and three mobile phones. But I often use smart considering that it has a better signal than the other networks in our area. I have tried others here but the thing is, I often get cut when I call. So I have always used the smart sim as my main mobile network.

I've got 2 simcards here. Sun and Globe. My oldest sim is the Globe. I had it since 2001 so that means it's 8 years now and counting.. The best signal in my experience is Globe.

Eversince I had my firt cellphone 10 years ago, I've never bought other simcard other than Globe. I was tempted to buy some, like Suncelluar, due to it's deals... but when I tried to borrow my sister's sim... it was hard ot find a good signal. I literally have to go up to our roof just to call someone... not to mention, I was told that most of the deals are on night time. What the heck!!! There's no way I'm going back to our roof part on an evening just to call!

Mostly, SMART users are in the provinces. And Globe subscribers are on the cities. However, here in Metro Manila, there are also a number of people using SMART sims; but most of them are fairly rich and are subscribed to postpaid services.

I use both since I load them.... More people load in Smart than in Globe. But sim card preference, I prefer Globe... the load last longer and it is easier to stop the subscription once accidentally subscribe into and I notice that even when I make calls the load doesn't eat up much of the load. Both have clear lines for me, but in great deals and texting.... I prefer Smart, one just have to choose which offer he has to buy, Like for example you are a heavy texter of both networks then buy the LahatText, but if you mostly text Smart users then get the AllText.

I am currently using two sim cards, smart and sun.. I use my Smart sim card when going outside Metro Manila but when I am not, I use my sun sim to send sms or make phone calls to my family and friends.. Sun call and text rate is way cheaper compared to Smart but the network fluctuates at times.. =)

I am using both globe and smart but I prefer using smart because their features are easy to understand and I can access to their customer service easily.

I've always had a Globe. It's been 14 years now. I got a line when I was still in High School and I've kept it until now. However when I started working in 2005, I had to get myself a Smart number too because the company where I work for has a corporate account with Smart. I will be switching jobs soon and I learned that this company also has an account with Smart. I don't think there are more Globe users, especially it's a known fact that signal-wise, Smart has a wider coverage. Just recently, my mom had her Globe post-paid line permanently disconnected because of terrible After Sales Customer Service considering that we have four lines with them for the past 14 years - so she's switched to Smart now.

I used to be a Globe simcard user for years. But then since most of the members of my family are using Smart, I think it is best to switch to Smart. I can use unlimited texting and besides it is easy for me to reach them once you are in the same subscriber, I think.

I used to be a Globe subscriber but I have now shifted to Sun Cellular. Globe has better signal in our area back in PH but Globe Telecom is starting to get filthy because they deduct the credits even if you're not using them.

Well, from my experience here in the metro where I lived my whole life...YES globe sim cards are widely used here. One time in my high school years there's only one guy in my section who had a smart sim card. Can you believe that? But, I guess it's changing now since a lot of cheating is happening in the telecom business today. (for example losing all your load even though you are not using your phone-broadcasted on the news as a common problem among subscribers)

I also used to have a globe simcard, the connection is good, and they have a lot of promos. Though now, I use a sun post paid, I save a lot now that I have a sun sim. My boyfriend and I got our post paid lines almost 2 years ago, and we are really happy with it. We can have unlimited text for only 150php, and free minutes of call. A lot of our friends have also gone back to their sun sim card, cause it really helps, specially when we have out of town trips or something. the only downside is, when you're in the province, there really is no saying when you will have a signal. LOL. good thing I stay here in Makati more often than I do in the province. =)
