Sunburned and hurting

For the last week I have been spending every other day swimming in a sister's in-laws pool. Great fun and love spending time with family members. However, the one thing that gets me everytime is the sunburn that I always get. I don't like to put sunblock on because it bugs my skin (I know I should put something on but...I'm stubborn..lol) My question is have you ever been sunburned? (stupid question right? lol) What do you find helps to soothe the ache? Thanks for commenting!

there is a aloe vera lotion that i use after burning. thankfully i haven't had to use it in a while! i said lotion but it's more like a gel. it's clear and green. i've bought it before at target so i'm sure you'd be able to find it pretty easily at a big store or pharmacy.

Ouch! That hurts so bad. You should really use some type of sun screen. I was thinking about some kind of lotion that would have Aloe Vera in it? Or, you might even try a sunscreen (?) that contains that and maybe it won't bug your skin. That's the only thing I could think of off hand without googling, haha.
